Who do you call after you've been in a minor car accident?

No one is hurt, just some minor car damage. Do I still call the police? What do I do?

  1. Yes, you will need a police report to determine who is at fault, unless someone has admitted to fault in writing and you have there insurance info. You need to notify you agent ASAP !!!      Good luck !!


  2. Start with the police.  They may not respond, but you will have a record that you called them if needed.

    Exchange information with the other party, get the license number (driver and vehicle), VIN, and insurance information at minimum.  Give them your information.  This is not the time to admit fault or accuse them of fault, the insurance will figure that out.

    When you get home, call your insurance and give them the information you have.

  3. Call your bookie, and make sure you have enough money on your next wager.

  4. Absolutely - you call the police, or if you're not in a town, the state police.
