There is a 504c place near where I live that says they helped me with 125.00 bill and they did not ever help me. I would like to see how many other people they have done this to and see about getting their non profit status pulled.

  1. I would send a note to the state attorneys office.

Also contact the better business buearu...

If nothing works there look into a state senator. One of those should work though...

  2. You can call the IRS and report them  Enough people report they loose their non profit status.

  3. First, its 501c3.  Second, you can start by talking to them and see if they might have sent you a check that didn't get to you or got misdirected somehow.  It could be that if you go to them and ask about it, you'll get your check.  You can bring the bill or a statement from the creditor that shows the payment was never applied to your account to prove that it never got there.  If they are trying to be fraudulant, you file a grievance, they have to give you their grievance policy, and probably did when you first applied for service.  Once you get that, follow it.  If they won't give you the policy, you go to the city or county umbudsman (it will be listed in the government section of the phone book, or you can google it), and file through their office.  But talk to the agency first, becasue this may just be a misunderstanding and you could be going on some pointless crusade that wastes yur own time and ends with you still not getting your needs met.

  4. Goto irs.gov

  5. you can find the phone number and call them.

Ask for the president of their company and talk to him.

Be sure that you have details and full proof. Because they will ask you for this these. lol

  6. Start with calling them and asking to talk to the CEO or Executive Director.  And explain what happened.

THEN if you do not get anywhere call the Secretary of State your next step would be to call the IRS if you do not get anywhere with the above 2 phone calls.

I work as a Case Manager and have had to call the electric company as the non profit did pay but left a number out of the person's account number.

    Good Luck
