  1. Hank Aaron

  2. Aaron or Jones.

  3. I say Hank Aaron. 2nd most home run leader (it should be 1st, but oh well) is really something. Those players you said were all pretty good, except for Francoeur. He still needs some work.

  4. Hammering Hank then Dale Murphy. They are both true superstars on and off the field

  5. It's GREAT to love your team, but come on man.  There are great players, and then there are untouchables.  Hank Aaron is untouchable, both as a player and a human being.  One of the classiest guys alive, and look at his stats!  I'm not saying that people won't match or beat numbers in certain areas, but overall, the man was MORE than an amazing player.  He's absolutely the cream of the crop, and I think if you asked this question to all the players you listed, they'd say the same thing.  (why did you leave out Greg Maddux?  Holy c**p, that guy's good)

  6. well only one of those guys is in the running for greatest baseball player ever, and that is Mr. Hank Aaron, so I would say that he is the greatest brave in history as well

  7. It really doesn't say much about their history if you have to include guys like Rafael Ramirez, Ozzie Virgil, Benedict and Franceour, but leave out Glavine and Maddux.

Aaron, followed by Mathews, Jones, Niekro of that list.

Although, Ruth was a Brave for a half a season.

  8. It has gotta be Hank Aaron! He put up numbers that blow your mind. Plus, he did it consistently for like a century, or so it seemed. He was phenomenal. He would be followed by Greg Maddux and Niekro in my opinion. Some pretty great players in the list though!

  9. Hank Aaron was prob the best. But i would say Chipper Jones, i have a lot of respect for someone that doesnt care about money, and will just play the game to play, and someone that sticks with his team that he started with. Although in the past hes been hurt a lot, he is still a feared hitter, and he even moved to left field for some time to help the team. Someone like that in the clubhouse just cant be replaced.

  10. Hank Aaron the all-time home run leader.

  11. Well since the team moving to Atlanta, Tom Glavine and David Justice take that honor. A great pitching performance from Glavine and a solo homer from DJ sealed the 1995 World Series for the Braves.

I would say collectively, Maddux-Galvine-Smoltz. I mean it's rare to have three eventual hall of famers on one rotation. Those three were bad@$$!

  12. Hammerin' Hank Aaron

  13. Easily Hank Aaron.  The top 10 (taking into consideration just their Brave stats) would look like this.

    1 Hank Aaron

    2 Warren Spahn

    3 Greg Maddux

    4 Eddie Mathews

    5 Kid Nichols

    6 Chipper Jones

    7 Phil Niekro

    8 John Smoltz

    9 Tom Glavine

    10 Rabbit Maranville

    honorable mention: Dale Murphy
