Certainly NOT a SPORTS figure, or Celebrity! A hero is Like Matt Urban, Audie Murphy, or those two army ranger who volunteered to fly in and stay with the "Black Hawk" down pilot. They didn't have to do it. No one asked them, they volunteered, and eventually died.  Or when a man jumps on a grenade to protect others, knowing that no one survives. I hate the term SPORT hero, or any other celebrity that Hero is used on. Like a Billionaire who donates a million dollars to some charity. And the media gets excited. That is chump change to a billionaire.

Many different people for many different reasons:

-Martin Luther King Jr. (Without him, we might have continued with a strong racial barrier. I'm not saying that there still isn't racism, but it's a lot better than it used to be. Plus, he did it in a non-violent way.)

-My brother (Whenever I needed someone to talk to, to play games with, or just to have a friend, he was there for me. He's an ordinary hero.)

-Every soldier who has died in past wars

the people who risk life and limb every day to just do their jobs ( firemen, police, etc.) and anyone who cures a disease . and Batman, lol.
