  1. I would draft Tomlinson simply because his career has been injury free aside from the knee injury at the end of the 2007 season aslo is consistantly scores over 15 td's a seaon. Adrian Peterson on the other had has not played a full season since his senior year in high school and aside from 2 monster games last season week 6 @ chicago 224 yards 3 td's and week 9 against San Diego 296 yards 3 td's his season was average also might i remind you of his 3 yard performance against the awful 49ers.

  2. Tomlinson.  He is a TD machine.  Peterson is good, but will not match LT's output.

  3. Since you say that it is a keeper league, Adrian Peterson. He'll get better with experience. I feel that he's going to be better than LT in a few years.

  4. Is Brian Westbrook a possibility??? He can run and recieve..

  5. You've got to go with Tomlinson here.  While Peterson makes you hold your breath every time he touches the ball, Tomlinson is a more proven player.  Unfortunately both lost very key lead blocking full backs (Peterson lost Pro-Bowl FB Tony Richardson, now with the Jets; Tomlinson lost Pro-Bowl FB Lorenzo Neal).  However, no need to sound the alarms as both still run behind very good offensive lines.

  6. Since this is a keeper league, I would take Peterson over LT. LT has two years left, at best, before he is done. He has even said he may call it a career around that time. Peterson will be productive for 5-8 more years if he stays healthy. Also, Don't forget, Tomlinson had knee surgery in the off season.

  7. Peterson has way more upside in a keeper league than LT. Tomlinson is about to turn 30 and thats the age when running backs begin to take the down hill turn.

AP is going to be a great back for at least 10 years barring injury and LT will probably be lucky to get 2 or 3 more really good seasons.

Go with AP and his upside in your keeper league.

  8. You cant go wrong with either but LT is more proven so I would go with him

  9. 1. LT

    2. SJax.

    3. Brady

    4. Westbrook

    5. R.Moss

  10. Tough one.... I'd just wait for the last possible draft date and maybe there will be a new injury like tomlinson out for season or somethin so then you get peterson

  11. Reasons to stay away:

    LT:

    Bad Knee

Top 2 players other than him had surgery this offseason

Taking on a bigger workload after surgery.

    AP:

    Injury Prone

    Chester Taylor right Behind him

Huge upside in the passing ability of tavaris jackson.

  12. I take Tomlinson because you know that he will produce, Peterson is only in his 2nd year and though he is a great back, there is a possibility that hes a 1 yr wonder.
