  1. A very dominant closer because if the closer's in it likely means you're in the ninth inning and trailing.

  2. I think a very dominant starter is much more intimidating than a closer.  As an opposing team, a pitcher like Johan Santana or Jake Peavy can control the entire outcome of a game.  Many pitchers like these can shut down an offense for 7 or even 8 or 9 innings.  If a pitcher pitches 8 solid innings without a run given up, the only thing an offense hopes to look for is a new pitcher that isn't quite as good as the starter.  A chance to maybe gain a few runs.

  3. Very Dominant Starter.

He can shut us down for 7 times as many innings as a closer can.

Plus, are offense struggles a lot when we face a dominant starter.

    Jack

  4. Dominant starter because my seattle mariners are horrible if their facing a closer that means the game is close and they have a chance.

  5. A very dominant closer. Hands down.

  6. A very dominant closer because if you want to make a comeback you don't have a good chance.

  7. A very dominant closer since starters have bad days more frequently than closers

  8. VERY DOMINANT CLOSER

    THE REASON IS BECUZ

    THEY CONTROL

    WHAT THE GAME IS

    AND BASICALLY IF

    THEY WIN THE GAME

    CUZ IF THEY GIVE DONT

    GET ONE RUN IT

    COULD COST

    US THE

    GAME OR SERIES

  9. a very dominant closer because usually that means yoyu are down and if he is that dominant then yoyu can count on a loss

  10. dominant closer.

  11. A very dominant starter. A starter determines the game and prevents a team from scoring runs.

If a team's losing 1. the starter usually won't come up in the 9th inning because he wouldn't be closing out the game and 2. If a team is losing the closer can't turn that around while a starter can prevent a team from losing by not letting up any runs in the first place

  12. a very dominant closer because it's not about how you start the game it's how you finish it

  13. A starter. The closer only pitchers one inning and hopefully we will be in the lead by then!

  14. it doesn't matter, the phils will hit any ball pitched over the fence anyways, whether it be a starter or a closer
