(1)The Pittsburgh fans who traveled all the way to Detroit, spent all that money for tickets, and didn't have a reason to stand up and cheer once?

(2) Sidney Crosby for showing the world how he stacks up against a dominate team?

(3) Vs and NBC for most likely losing a lot of the ratings they were projected to have for this series, since it's not living up to the hype?

  1. I feel for the fans that traveled all that way and went home very empty. But it showed they were true fans and that says something.

  2. Really none of the above~~

    (1) Thats the risk you take when going to a game.

    (2) How was he to know?

    (3) Being a Wings fan I don't have a problem with VS, as long as I can watch the game I don't really care about all the hype.......

  3. #4 NONE OF THE ABOVE

  4. i don't feel bad for any one especially crosby. if i was gonna feel bad for anyone it would be the fans who went to Detroit and watched their team get beat cause that sucks but i still don't feel that bad. i don't feel bad for Vs and NBC because now hopefully they will see that they can't just root for the pen's all the time they have to give other teams just as much time on their network as the pen's get. they can't just always have shows on crosby and always have the announcers clearly being bias against the other team when they play pittsburgh. i will never in my life feel bad for Sidney crosby- the whinnier

  5. I feel bad for the most(?) for the true Pittsburgh Fans who were crushed under the horde of people that jumped on the bandwagon this year. The good thing is that the crowd is beginning to thin out and they are able to breathe again. Just a reminder to get better seats if it were to happen again.

My band wagon is pretty empty right now. But come September it will be crowded again and if history (long ago history) ever repeats itself, the Toronto Bandwagon would have to have two or three storeys added.

  6. (4) Me because I live way up north and between work, ticket prices, and the price of gas I hafta settle for watching it on tv.

  7. I'm too busy watching the bandwagon fall apart. all that garbage the "Fake" fans have been throwing out just got thrown in their face's..... Oh look i found a pic of the bandwagon three years ago by next monday it will look the same

  8. ALTHOUGH THE SERIES ISN'T OVER YET, SO WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL.....

    1) I feel bad for them, but they spent their money knowing it could happen.

    2) Sidney will have his day - he got this far pretty fast.  How many times did Stevie Y have to eat crow before he raised the Cup?  It didn't happen for Yzerman (just one example) until there was a full team around him.  Teams win Cups, not players - even Graetzky and Howe needed Championship teams to win.  Players can't do it alone - this isn't basketball.

    3)  I thought the games were great --- a good lesson in hockey.  The Pittsburgh game will be closer, too ---- NBC has a shot at a good broadcast.

  9. I feel sorry for the Penguins fans that I respect in this forum because not only are their team down 0-2, but because there were many bandwagon fans disguised as Pens fans that hurled insults at us Flyers fans, that I have engaged in razzing Malkin and Crosby.

I think I've been good natured about it and unless something really motivates me to do otherwise, I'm done bashing them while they are down.

  10. # 1 the Pittsburgh fans sorry. But what a Disappointment to have to drive back home knowing your team is under by 2 games in the Finals.. Better yet, good thing you know that the Penguins haven't lost a game at the Mellon Arena since Feburary!

#3 People are mainly watching basketball series right now but Haven't you noticed that the Internet Sites (Yahoo, aol) aren't even broadcasting the scores to people?

  11. i feel bad for the penguins fans who traveled all the way to detroit. my friends cousin lives in pittsburgh & she went all the way to detroit for game 1 & she was very disappointed. i mean i would be disappointed to & all but idkk i really hope they win both at home.

  12. Sidney Crosby because he's not getting any help and he's getting pounded and nobody's standing up for him

  13. 1- Yes

2- No, Sidney Crosby's career has just begun

3- No, game one had record ratings.

  14. I don't feel bad for any of them.

    1. Who would spend all that money when you could watch it at the Igloo for $5.

    2. He hasn't got a goal but he hasn't been playing that bad. You don't see as many people complaining about him as you do Roberts.

    3. It happens every year. If the Pens weren't in it I wouldn't be watching either. A lot of people don't watch it if their team is out.

I feel bad for the Pens because of the fans turning against them when it isn't even close to being over. They haven't been playing the best, but they are the conference champs.

  15. Whatever Ronnie said. Well put.

  16. The NHL for not pushing Detroit (and players like datsyuk and zetterberg) all year, and putting all their eggs in the Penguins basket.

  17. I feel for the NHL and the networks but how many times do you see projections and they don't work out.Super Bowls and College Bowl games are prime examples of that.
