Who do you file a report with when you know that a owner is stealing money from their company?

I did some independent work for a company and I saw the owner stole money from the company and the employees are not getting paid. Who would I report that to?

  1. if he owns the place the its his. if other people and him own the place then tell the other owners.  


  2. The owner of the company cannot steal from the company as it is already his.  If the company is a corporation, he is stealing from the corp but he is not the owner.  Not getting paid, for any reason, is different.  The state labor board would be very interested in that.

  3. If you think something illegal is going on, you should report it to the police.  Our DA's office has a White Collar Crimes division that deals with this sort of issue, and works with law enforcement agencies including the city and county police departments and the state attorney general's office.

  4. No one, it's none of your business.

    Also your saying the OWNER is stealing money.  Well, he is only stealing money from himself, that's not illegal.
