Is it really nessasary to choose. Our neighbor to the north has not cause us any problems.  I am an American who is glad to have Canada on our northern border.

I like people on an individual basis... by their personalities, not their nationalities.

There are good and bad in both countries.   I have no preference.  If it was an individual it would be easy to answer.

I like the US as a whole better..because I am an American, and I love my country..that being said, there are good and bad in both countries so I find it impossible to determine an answer simply based upon the information presented in the question.

Together Canadians and Americans can apply the term more to both were they to help make The United Nations strong and capable. Were Americans to join Canadians in vast global effort along with global citizens no difference between anyone could be seen.  Global effort to stop  global warming reject Human Supremacism as cause. Acknowledge Human Racism educate against it. Human Racism as belief dominant Superior lifeform. American Foreign Policy can not like very much but as to Americans cannot say.

I've only known one Canadian, he drove to the Texas gulf coast in a 1960 ford falcon, I think his name was 'Grant',  He started off as a good guy but in the end as they were leading his stoned to the bone A $ $ off in handcuffs I was glad to see him go. But as a whole I like our neighbors to the north and I'm glad they are there, it could easily be much worse...

Americans as a whole, are rather less than popular all over the world. Every third world country wants our help but despises us in the end.*( look at the countries that we set up as oil distributors...) I guess the best people I've ever found are in Texas, If you don't believe me, try a visit. Like they say in the lords prayer, "On earth as it is in Texas...!"

I don't judge my likes or dislikes of people by their nationalties. I've been half way around the world and met a lot of people and found that I generally liked all of them. I'm sure there were good and bad in all the places the same as we have here. I have worked with some Canadians and found all of them to be personable, courteous, polite and respectful. And as proud of their nation as I am mine. I couldn't ask for a better neighbor.
