Myself. And NOT because I'm some kind of egoist, but because I'm of the view that in order for others to like/love you, you have to like/love yourself first. First impressions are too often the basis of what people think you are, and if you come across as hating yourself, then others won't want to know you. After that, naturally, I love my parents, daughter, partner, pets, and my close friends. None of them are loved any more or less than the others; I love them all, in different ways.

I love my mum more than anyone else, especially now she's alone since Dad passed away after 60 years of happy marriage. She's been so strong and brave and I wish I lived nearer so I could spend more time with her. Mind you, when I do see her we always have such a good chat and a laugh. She's my role-model and my inspiration. You'll have me cryin' in a minute.....
