Who do you prefer: Nadal Or Federer?

I prefer Federer. But I like Rafa as well. As long as those two dominate tennis, everything is fine for me. :)

They are both great but I'd have to say Federer. His game is just so wonderful to watch. He's a magician. I can really appreciate Nadal's relentless, never say die style of play too but I've just always prefered the shot-makers to the hustlers. I was more of a Sampras fan than an Agassi fan for the same reason. The contrast of styles does make for a great match though.

Federer is my favorite win or lose but not liking someone for collapsing or biting their trophy is silly.  Plus Federer has collapse from winning a few times.  Nadal is still a sweet guy though.

this question is so old... Federer is the most talented player i've ever watched play the game.

I watched Sampras in his prime and am a huge Sampras fan, but Federer is so smooth and effortless that i constantly jump out of my chair when i watch him.

that being said Federer is still the best tennis player in the world

They're both awesome players, and (as we saw at Wimbledon) they're very entertaining when pitted against each other.

But I have to say Federer, because at least he has the decency to not pick his wedgies on (inter)national television.

I like them both, but if I had to pick, I'd go with Nadal.  I'm tired of seeing Federer win all the time.  But, to be honest, I'm getting tired of Nadal not having any competition as well.   But, Nadal (and Federer) have excellent sportsmanship, and exciting games, so I like them both, with the slight edge going to Nadal.

Federer, he is a class act and a great sportsman win or lose! The way I look at this question is to think 'who would I rather play like' then the answer is easy!!

I appreciate the genius of Federer's game. It is rare to find someone who has raised the bar. He has past geniuses stunned at his talent. Problem is, he's in a very very slight slump (dolts want to consider making the finals a slump, then Nadal was in a slump last year).  

Federer is certainly the better player, and therefore I prefer his technique.

Nadal...and chris g. i dont think u watch federer play enough...last years wimbledon final he collapsed to the ground and cried like a baby...nadal on the other hand did nothing but raise his arms after winning this years french. i no he fell to the ground after wimbledon this year but excuse him for feeling happy after being the first man to beat fed at wimbledon in half a decade. I would bet you any amount of money that fed wud have done the same thing if he won and prolly cried but he did that when he lost anyway

Rafael Nadal-  humble, gentle, yet strong, powerful and gifted with the hottest body I've seen in years;  Nike do him justice by giving him cool tennis gear to wear that shows this off to perfection.

Federer has become far too arrogant, smug & boring, and as for that awful cardigan -well....

Federer because he is funny and very good at the same time. As for Nadal, he sort of creeps me out everytime he makes that grunt when he hits the ball. LOL

Both are class acts but I prefer Federer because way he constructs points and hits winners just makes you say "wow." Nadal is great too but mostly because he just muscles and pounds the heck out of the ball. Federer's serene touch and amazing shot-making gives him the edge for me.

Nadal. I didn't like the ATP until he joined and now I can honestly say I enjoy the men's tour better than the women's.
