After Robbie Deans leaves the franchise at the end of 2008 who do you reckon will replace him. Rumours are Mark Hammett, Todd Blackadder, and Steven Hansen.. What are your thoughts?

  1. I think Hammet (Coach) and Blackadder (assistant) will be the mix. Blackadder just demands the respect, although this combo shows no backline experience, so perhaps just one of those guys, but who would be the back coach for Canterbury.

  2. Give to someone from within the Canterbury Region who knows the cultural of rugby that is played there otherwise it will end like the other franchises......... Hammet and Co will do a great job with Blackadder as their Manager.

  3. LES BROWN WILL COACH THE CRUSADERS NEXT YEAR LOL

  4. I think Mark Hammett and Todd Blackadder are certainly in the mix - but just to throw in something from left field - I would actually like to see Gordon Teitjens given a run with them - He certainly has the goods to keep things going where Robbie has left off, and has earned a Super franchise coaching job. Try the best sevens coach in the world with the best super team and see how it goes....
