Question

Your driving along in your sports car, only two seats and at the bus stop you see;

A lonely man, wanting to go home

A elderly woman, freezing to death and needing to go to the hosiptal

Your best mate who really needs to get to a job interview, his whole career depends on it.

There are no more buses coming, you cant strap anyone to the boot etc. you have two seats in your car. What do you do

p.s you best mate would probably never speak to you again, could you live with the guilt of a woman dead and you could of stopped it and dont you feeel sorry for the lonely man?

i stop, let my best mate drive the woman to the hospital and then go to his interview right after, and i stay to keep the lonely man company.

I'd make the old lady sit on my buddy's lap!  Well, if he wants to get to his job intervies,he'll have to deal with it!  The lonely guy will just have to wait for the next bus.  Yes, I feel sorry for the lonely guy but he is far from being the only lonely person out there and maybe he's a psycho!  I know that the elderly lady isn't going to shoot me so I'm okay with her in my car.

since there are TWO seats in the car left, then I choose your best friend because he won't speak to you and his life will be ruined if he doesn't get a job and the lady because the lady will die. But if I have to choose one person, I would choose the old lady, because she will die and not your bestfriend because you could make another friend.

you sometimes get asked this at interviews. what your meant to say is, Get out the car, let your friend drive the car and the old women in the other seat, drive to the hosiptal and he goes to his interview, whilst you sit and wait with the man to keep him company

I'd drive on by and not pick anyone up. It uses up gas to stop, plus more to heat up the car for extra passengers. Let them catch the bus in the morning and I'll save the environment by using less gas.

This is kind of nonsensical, too, because people could sit on each other's lap. It's not like you would get in trouble if you were trying to save people.

And if they can't be bothered to check a bus schedule then they sort of deserve to be out there in the cold, aanyway.

I'd save the elderly woman because she was in dire need of medical attention, the elderly man was simply lonely (sad yes but not dying), and my friend probably could get another job (maybe even a better one).
