Who do you say for le Tour?

Cadel seems to be the favourite, but something about his staying power seems weak. It seems as though he'll never win a mountain stage. I have to say Menchov, but what do we people think?

The race this year is between Cadel and Valverde.  Some "unknown" will be there as well but the tour is always good for a few surprises each year.  Let's see who gets kicked out this year.

Cadel's a strong choice.  Maybe Valverde, maybe Gesink, maybe Popovych.  Perreiro or Sastre may come out of the woodwork.

Edit:  Even if Landis is considered to have served a two-year suspension, he would still only be able to ride for a continental level team for two years.  The Tour would then have to invite that team.

Cadel would have to be favourite second last year, and he is better this year and without Contador and LEIPHEIMER racing I think only Sastre has a chance to beat Cadel

I agree that Cadel might not seem as if he will win a mountain stage but i think that's because is a more defensive rider and his strength is in the time trials

I think it will be 2nd rate with out Astana, the best grand tour team period.But someone has to win, so maybe go with valverde or menchov
