Georgia doesn't want to lose it's territory too Russia. Russia had promised to come to the aid of those in the territory if Georgia attacked, and doesn't want to appear weak in front of the other nations of the world.

Who do you support?

  1. Georgia.?

  2. Georgia. From everything I've been reading not only is Russia the equivalent of fighting fire crackers w/ a-bombs but they are trying to force the much smaller, much less equipped region back into their control. But both are wrong for dragging innocent "middle ground" into the crossfire.

  3. Georgia

  4. whole world thinks that russia promised to aid South Ossetians but all it did during 16 years was invading boundaries of Georgia and conducting operations that was against Peace Corp.Mission but at that time nobody paid attention because Whole World though it was just a piece of imagination. and now when russia has almost conquered Georgia people still ask questions like that.

WELL I HOPE SOMEDAY THE WORLD WILL OPEN ITS EYES AND SEE WHO SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR THESE ACTS OF UNTHOUGHTFUL VIOLENCE AND MANKILLING.

a lot of innocent blood has been shed.

    GOD BLESS EVERYONE

  5. Why is Russia attacking Georgia?  Do they want to colonize Atlanta? lol..just joking.

While our idiot president attacks random oil rich countries looking for a 6 ft 5 inch Santa(bin laden), Russia is taking back all the countries and provinces it freed when it was the Soviet Union.  Putin is returning the stalin era, slowly but surely.

  6. Georgia.

  7. well, i am Georgian. and ofcourse i support my country. But few minutes ago The president of Georgia said that town Gori is taken over by Russian army, thats few hours way from the capital Tbilisi. Well maybe this is the last post of mine in here.Because i don't think they will stop.   Don't know. Time will show i guess.

  8. Every one of us is a citizen of come particular country but we are all citizens of humanity. If I have to take a side this would be humanity's side.

As a humanist I think humanity has no interested in one totally dominating military super-nation because then there will be no freedom guarantor.I feel that without Russia (and China) USA is capable of doing absolutely anything and if someone becomes totally untouchable I think we are in the "Hitler won" scenario.

USSR is long dead and NATO is existing and expanding. There are NATO bases surrounding Russia, not counting US bases in Bulgaria and Romania and US nuclear rockets in Germany and US interceptor rockets in Poland and so on.Cold war is over but US is still desperately trying to evaporate Russia.Even though Russia still exists EU has it's pants down on USA and now it appears all the civilized world is against Russia which is not the case!

About my personal tragedy I am speechless: my favorite Russian movie is "Mimino" and the main character is Georgian.USA (and Israel) started a war between two brothers

  9. Georgia. I have never supported Russia nor for what it stands for.

  10. Neither,  Georgia had no right to kill over 2000 - 3000 civilians. But then again Russia is acting like it want's Georgia.

  11. Georgia.

Putin can get wiped off the Earth.

  12. Neither. They're both in the wrong. The president of Georgia was playing a very high risk game with the lives of his people when he antagonised Russia, but equally Russia should not have responded they way they have.

My sympathies go to the people of Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia; those who have absolutely no say in this matter whatsoever, but simply have to sit by whilst Georgia and Russia gamble with their lives.

  13. Simply put, I support the liberation of South Ossetia.  But I don't support any ulterior motives that Russia has.  If Russia continues to attack Georgia after South Ossetia is freed, then I have a problem with them, and feel they should be stopped as soon as possible.  For now, I feel the Russians are more in the right than the Georgians; while their actions are not all justified, they are more so than those of the Georgians.

The numbers that the Russians are attacking with may seem disproportionate, but I think it's justified if it's going to end the conflict more quickly.  The faster this is over, the fewer civilians casualties pile up.

edit; Sorry for being so inarticulate.  I'm tired.  XD

  14. Russia ofcourse

i think every1 knows who started this war and who killed 1500ppl

    in 1 day

if u americans were instead of russia having this situation u most probably lunch a major attack vs georgia and destroy every inch in it

as what u did in iraq . and btw ur going to put this country in ur fucken terrorist list which conatins iran syria northkorea and other countries which r saying the truth and defending their lands against u and all the west

  15. Georgia. Your portrayal of what is going on is inaccurate.

  16. Georgia,

they were in the USSR and do not want to be assimilated again.  It appears that Russians in mass moved to Georgia with the idea of taking it back throw population and our now using the peace keeping mission as a cover up.

  17. Georgia has supported the US and has sent troops to assist in Iraq.  Russia, under Putin's control, has remained a thorn in our side though it's not very well publicized.  Georgia doesn't stand a chance without some outside help, though I support them.

  18. russia
