Who do you talk to about roadside clean up?

A few of my friends and i need community service hours, i need them for a pagent and they need them for graduation, some of the roads around us are full of litter who do we talk to; to clean them up and get credit for it (such as a certificate stating we did it)?

  1. The adoption method works well, as far as north Carolina, we have gone back to using county prisoners, with armed guards and dogs.This is one of the most repressive states Iv ever lived in. This state is run like a black and white movie from the twenties.

  3. Your state department of transportation.  Or, you could work with your local Kiwanis - or other service club - that has a sign up indicating that they have "adopted" the two miles you are interested in.
