Who do you think WOULD have won the race had there not been that last caution?

I'm not trying to take anything about Jr.'s win away from him; I'm very pleased to see him get back into Victory Lane after so long. But I was just wondering which driver you think would have won had their not been that last caution.

I don't want Jr. Nation to boo and report me, but judging by the fact that he ran out of gas there before doing any burnouts or anything, I don't think he would have won.

If Brian Vickers hadn't been threatened by NASCAR to get black flagged for passing #8 (Martin) who ran out of gas, Vickers. Still no explanation why NASCAR did that.

I think Jr. still would have won. But I was hoping that Kasey could have won it. That would have been awesome, 3 wins in the last 4 races. But a 2nd is better then nothing.

Jr. said in the post race interview that his car stumbled in three. That was under the caution. I think he would have run out, and Kasey would have gotten three in a row. I'm not hating on Jr., I am a fan. He knows how close it was.

Brian Vickers or Kasey Kahne, no doubt. Dale Jr said he would have ran out if they hadn't called the caution. I'm sure when he got word of the caution he shut the engine off and coasted around to the start finish line...that is why it seemed like he had a little fuel.

Kasey Kahne would've eaten Jr. alive on the backstretch. He won by the mercy of the caution flag. p**s poor way to "win" your first points race in over 2 years.

iarechigz has it.  junior probably had enough fuel as long as they kept running at speed.  when they dropped to caution speed, fuel wasn't being "pushed" to the pickup anymore.

If you really think about it he would have still won. He was in the lead and wasn't out of gas yet.

As much of a Jr fan as I am, I don't think it would have been him. The 2nd to last caution saved us, he even said so himself in a post-race interview. If Vickers hadn't gotten screwed (for reasons not yet understood) he would have won. But since that's not the case I will say that Kasey Kahne would have won since Jamie McMurray had to pit.

Honestly, I think Jr. still would have made it -- but just barely. Going around for another lap, considering the banking, and the momentum, I think that enough fuel would have made it to the pickup to just barely get him over that finish line. He made it even going that last caution lap, and he was down below the apron where the fuel shouldn't have made it to the pickup and still did. I think he still would have had it.

Obviously, if it wasn't him, it would have been Kasey.

Brian Vickers. If dale Jr. ran out of gas under caution with those last few laps under caution included he would have run out of gas big time!

Jr.  he had a good lead , he was saving gas , he ran almost a whole lap before picking up the pace car, ran 3 yellow laps 1 green lap to the white flag & then ran out . there were only 2 laps to go before the caution flag flew . 2 caution laps =1 green lap . He would have run out of gas during his long awaited burnout .

He would have ran out of gas but you have to give it to Tony Eury Jr he did pretty much the same thing as Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knause but he had people breathing down his neck.
