I like Jimi Hendrix of course, but of today I am a real fan of Keith Urban. Other than that I don't really know. I know that I like when Charlie Daniels band plays devil went down to Georgia that is good too. But I don't know who the guitarist is. Oh that might be a fiddle!!!

How can you leave Stevie Ray Vaughn off this list? :)  - -  Innovative, hard-felt blues.  You can really 'feel' what he's playing.



B.B. King - - the master of the blues.  When you can make an instrument 'talk' to you, you're good.

Ricky Skaggs - - bluegrass / country musician.  Although mainly a mandolin picker, he plays a guitar extremely fast and with precision accuracy.  Bluegrass is more intricate that folks may think.

Jimi Hendrix - although it may have been drug induced, he explored different sounds and chord patterns - - AND PLAYED LEFT HANDED.  Ahead of his time.

Keith Richards - - The Stones have defined rock and roll for several decades.
