Well, I was looking at some questions from last night and the majority of them seemed to be about A-Rod not being able to hit with RISP. (What else is new lol).

But I wanted your take on this: Who do you think came through the most with RISP and who do you think came through the least?

It could be current or retired players; I really don't care.

And I know I said I was going to take a break from Y!A, but I couldn't stay away lol. And I finished my homework early today. =)

  1. Clutch hitting is not an actual ability.  It is people cherry-picking their memories.  Guys who are "clutch" in one season revert to the mean the next.

Jeter fans seem to not remember last year's playoffs...or the year before.  Or that he actually only had about three other hits in the year he became "Mr. November."

Check the numbers.  What people think they know is not always the truth.

  2. Lots of guys are great Clutch, How about Yogi Berra,

Worst Clutch....Easiest question in the history of the world, My 2 month old niece can answer it..A-Dog.

  3. Most clutch: Big Papi

    Worst:A-Rod.

  4. My Favorite Yankee Player of all time Reggie Jackson would deliver in the clutch big time..

  5. Best: Jeter aka Captain Clutch

    Worst: A-Rod

  6. Best would be Eddie Murray. He always came through with a clutch hit or homer when it counted. Never spoke. He just went out there and played baseball.

  7. I'm just going to mention my favorite player as one of the best:  George Howard Brett
