Who do you think can beat Anderson Silva and why?

No one in the Middleweight division. But at LHW, I think Machida, because of his ability to elude. W. Silva, because he is tough and ruthless, and Chuck Liddell, because, well, he's Chuck Liddell.

Depends on what class were talking about. I would say in the light heavyweight division that several guys can take him. Not saying that Keith Jardine is any good... but i think their styles would make a good fight. Forrest Griffin could beat him, cuz Forrest can take punishment and still deliver an amazing fight. And both are stand up fighters. And for that same reason i think Quinton and Chuck could both beat him. As far as middleweight... i think GSP would be a really close fight. Anderson would probably still win... but GSP would make it a tough fight. My ideal fight would be Brandon Vera dropping to light Heavyweight to smash Anderson Silva.

no one in the middleweight division, not even michael bisping. but if he will move up in the LHeavyweight division, there would be a lot of guys that would give him a good fight. SHOGUN, CHUCK, GRIFFIN, VERA now that he's in the Lheavyweight division and a lot more.

Well, if Anderson steps up to Light HW, I could see Rampage, Liddell, or even Loyoto Machida beating him. I'd like to see GSP step up a weight class and fight Anderson, but I think a GSP and BJ Penn rematch needs to get settled first.

He has lost before. I don't think there is anyone who can beat him now. Rampage and Liddel would be knocked out before they even thought about throwing their first combo. GSP shouldn't really even be mentioned in the same sentence.

yeah it would take one of the light heavyweights, i dont think gsp can do it....

but even with that said, i still dont think they would be better off...

maybe wanderlei, maybe lyoto, who knows,...

Paulo Filho would have a chance to get a submission on Anderson, but I don't know how he would get Anderson to the ground.  They won't fight unless the purse is crazy as they are good friends.

Demian Maia also has the submission skills to beat Anderson.  Problem is that he would probably get KO'd looking for a takedown.

I think Cung Le and Melvin Manhoefwould have a chance to stand and trade with Anderson.  Both are elite competitors while standing, but Anderson is better.

Well No one ,but if he was around earlier i would say Bruce Lee because he was and still is the toughest fighter on earth . Bruce Lee had muscles in every part of his body even the fingers!

I heard a rumor that Wanderlei Silva was going to make the drop to 185. If he does, he would have the best chance at beating Anderson. 2 Chute Boxe students going to war.....it would be awesome.
