Who do you think for 2008?

Question

Is there anyone in the sport of Nascar in 2008 that will be able to beat Kyle Buschfor he championship?

If so why?

Kyle Busch will fade in the Chase. The real battle will be between Dale Jr. and Jimmie Johnson, and just maybe Jeff Gordon. They're the Big 3, and they always spring into Chase Mode when the Chase arrives, especially that 48 car.

Burton, Jr and Busch are consistant. Kanhe, Kenseth and Biffle are springing to life....whose to say?

I'm just hopping the points race tightens up a bit to make things a little more interesting.

I dont no Jr may be able to or Burton but unless some body wins alot of the chase races its gonna be one of these three.

Jeff Gordon,Jimmie Johnson,Dale Jr.,Carl Edwards and possibley Brian Vickers if he makes the chase. He's 14th in points.

I'm going with Burton as the dark horse. You hardly ever hear anything about him, yet he is right there every week. He has been very consistent with RCR. I think he has an excellent shot at winning if he keeps it up.

Jimmie Johnson is always a threat, he's won back to back's and I would imagine a third in a row would be something he's got his eye on..

Jeff Gordon would also be a threat, let's face it, he's not a 4 time champ by being a slacker behind the wheel.

Jeff Burton could pose as a threat, he's aware of the fact that his career only has a few years left, and he's in the best position he's been in to win.

And yes, I'm going to throw Jr. in there, the reality is he's been strong all year, and finally is in the right position to win one, so I wouldn't count him out.

Lastly, Carl Edwards, he's hungry just as Kyle is, and has been known to be equally aggressive if necessary.

That's my list of drivers I think are Kyle's biggest threats, and the reasons why I think they are.

Kenseth. He is on a roll. He was 22nd in points at darlington over 200 points back, now he is in the top 12. He is the most consistent right now. Even though he is in 12th, he is coming. Wouldn't surprise me if he was in the top 5 after richmond.

Jimmie Johnson - He will always pose a threat for the title;

Jeff Gordon - He too is always a threat;

Matt Kenseth - He has been on a role lately;

Kasey Kahne - Has gotten quite a few wins;

Clint Bowyer - Is definitally the dark horse of the group. Last year he finished third. He is a sneaky one and definitally has the potential.
