  1. Jack Roush. His motto is,

'If you believe yourself you can do it - as long as you have the money!'

  2. Joe Gibbs, because he brings teamwork influence from the NFL.

  3. Either the wood bros. or richard childress.

  4. Several come to mind but would have to go with;

    Carl Kiekhaefer

    Cotton Owens

    Holman-Moody

    Petty

    Hendrick

    Roush

    Yates

    Gibbs

    Sabates

    Glen and Leonard Wood

  5. Wood Brothers redefined every aspect of NASCAR fom the Cars themeselves to Pit Stops.  There would be no Hendrick, Roush or RCR if it wasn't for them.

  6. Have to go with TBone's answer - if you look at NASCAR history, the Wood Brothers were extremely influential in getting the sport off the ground.  They basically created the modern pit stop, and dominated races in the 70s.  Check out Wikipedia for some history on the Wood Brothers.

Honorable mention would have to go to Hendrick Motorsports - the first prominent team with multiple cars.  Unfortunately, I think this is a major downfall of the sport - it's too tough for a new owner to get in.  BUT, Hendrick was the first to do it.

  7. Bill France, Sr.  Without him, NASCAR would just be a bunch of local series.  Bill France, Sr. is the Vince McMahon of NASCAR.

  8. Jack Roush, he owns the most drivers' cars and he is one of the smartest guys in the sport.

  9. Rick Hendrick. Because he is positive with his employees and does his best to help them win.
