Certainly Obama does. McCain unfortunately doesn't even like to talk about his heroic efforts in Nam. Obama does have the so called msm cheerleading for him though which sometimes brings about a larger ego. It's like every time he speaks somewhere their they are jumping up and down cheering for him as if he just scored a touchdown...

think about it, anyone who would run for president has a huge ego.

what makes anyone think that they have the answers to America's and the world's problems and that they have the ability to change them unless they have an ego large enough to try to do so.

as far as degree of ego i would say Obama. he's young but i wouldn't say brash. i would also say that in these current times it would be hard to look at these men as being idealistic. wanting absolute power is what i believe drives any individual to want this position and having a tremendous ego is the driving force behind it.

i also don't believe that ego equals conceit. conceit comes in the form of george w bush who is so d**n sure that he's right and has continuously lead us in the wrong direction.

i'm a crusty, disillusioned, former marine who's been about everywhere and been through a few presidents in my time. i say this because when the dust settles george w bush will be considered the worst president in our history.

LOL! That pipsqueak McCain claims he "knows how to win wars" takes the cake for ego, doesn't it? Getting shot down in a plane sure doesn't seem like winning a war

Obama, easily.  A freshman senator with very little domestic, foreign or military experience thinks he can lead the free world.

McCain has none at all, except that he is proud of his service and his children. He has a son fighting in Iraq and NEVER even mentions it!
