This year in terms of record, Cubs, but all-time the Cardinals blow the Cubs away. The Cardinals have had a tougher schedule so far, and more injuries. But the Cubs still clearly have had the better team. There are no "what ifs?" in baseball. Their two best pitchers have been injured for much of the season. Go Cardinals!!!!! In late April the Cardinals actually led the division, CubsBearsBulls. And the Diamondbacks had the best record in the N.L. early in the year as well. And the Cubs have a better record against the Cubs, I do know that. I just meant in terms of World Series championships. Its close in pennants though, the Cubs have fifteen and the cardinals have seventeen. I did not mean the record against each other. I thought you said all year the Cubs led the division. Maybe you said most of the year. Sorry if I came across you the wrong way. And I thought you meant literally all year. You are right though, a week into the season doesn't matter at all. All that matters is the final standings. Again, sorry if it seemed like I was being a jerk to you. I didn't mean to.

lol the cubs. i don't even need to be a diehard fan to say that, the cubs just do everything better than the cardinals, better pitching, better hitting, more speed, better catching, everything the cubs do is better than the cardinals efforts

Even though I hate them, i have to say the Cubs. But the NL is so weak I guess I'll go with neither of them being any good

This season, the Cubs...so far.  There are still two months worth of games to be played, and Rich Harden got thumped around today so we'll see how he responds to that.

As for the Cardinals, Ludwick is getting hot at the right time, and Carp and Waino are getting back into it as well.

You're insane if you truely believe the Cardinals are the better team.  They have been playing above and beyond anyone's expectations this year, but they still don't have the talent the Cubs have.  The Cubs have lead the NL Central all year, have had the best record in the NL all year and for a good chunk of the season were the best team in baseball.  Statistically they are the top offensive team in the NL and right up at the top with pitching as well.  I'm sorry, but you are sadly, sadly mistaken if you think the Cardinals are the better team.

Survivor, I think you're mistaken as well if you think the Cards are the better all-time team.  I believe the all-time record between the 2 teams are 1,140-1,075  in favor of the Cubs.  If you don't believe me you can look it up for yourself right here:

Survivor, a week here and a week there doesn't really matter.  The Dbacks had the NL lead for a week, 2 tops.  Same thing for the Cardinals.  That's not even a month of baseball that the Cubs haven't been the best in the NL.

Survivor that's very noble of you to admit a mistake.  This is why I've had respect for the Cardinals and their fans.
