  1. i dont think it could be roger federer but novak can do it  in future, its not sure about nadal aswel unless he win slam on different surface, in women sharapova has the potential to make it and in near future she will hit the bulls eye, for venus(1 time french open finalist), justin(two time wibledon finalist and last years semifinalist)  and davenport it seems difficult and mauresmo if rejuvinates with her strength she can do it for 1 us open and 1 french open but if she does that with in two years or so but still seems difficult, lets hope for miracles.

  2. I was thinking Djokovic as well, he has great talent if he puts it up there!

is Serbian and my favorite player, I also think Nadal has a shot at it but it will be a random pick.

Winning all 4 Grand-Slams is extremely difficult, because some people (eg: Nadal) are very good on Clay, but on hardcourt they ain't there best!

Some players are good on Hardcourt but bad on clay, so it really is a random pick.

Nadal is extremely hard to defeat on clay, but the Djoker is hard to defeat on the Hard Court surface.

    Phil.

  3. no one it wont happen

  4. For the women I would go with Ivanovic. She has an all surface style game. Sharapova doesnt move well, let alone on red clay, sorry fans. Especially Ana has her whole career in front of her and plenty of time.

For the men, I only wish Nadal could do it being he has raised his game on grass and hard court, but when it comes to finals he gets destroyed, sadly. I'm going with Djokovic or Berdych.

  5. i hope rafael nadal and maria sharapova... hope to see nadal winning his 4th consecutive french open.... and maria winning the french open too!!! :) hope they both win the 2008 french open this year! especially nadal!!! and maria winning the US open and wimbledon again! and nadal has a chance also for winning the wimbledon...

    go maria! vamos nadal!

  6. For women's - it's Maria Sharapova only 1 more left (French)

For Men's - still Roger Federer only 1 more left (French); Novak great chance, 3 more to go but same as with Nadal & Roddick. Good luck to them all.

  7. I'm assuming you mean over their career, not a calendar year Grand Slam. Personally, I think that may be too tall an order.  Career Slam-wise, I'd have to go with Federer. He's won everything but the French Open and he's come pretty close there the past couple of years. He's also got the most diverse all round game, which gives him a great shot at winning on every surface. I'm not saying I think he will do it, but he's certainly the most likely guy out there.

  8. Chances are really high that it's Federer.  I would LOVE for him to win a calendar slam. There are only a few who have done that, and if we get to be a part of history to witness that, it would be so cool.

I would love for Maria to win the French, but not sure, like the guy w the blue baseball cap said, she doenst move too well on clay. Can't say she doesn't move well in general, because you can't win as much as she does without moving those feet!

  9. Well Roger Federer is likely to be the next player because the only Slam evading him is the French which is also the next Slam. If he can defeat Nadal there then he will become that player. Djokovic has a good chance over the 5 years to do it but I think it will be difficult to beat Nadal at the french and Roger at Wimbledon so he may never win them all.

  10. Like many have said, it would appear to look fairly easy for Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer, each only need to win the French Open, but that is easier said than done.  Other players who could do it are Nadal, Djokovic, or Roddick.  And for the women, Mauresmo only needs two more, Kuznetsova needs three, I believe Venus needs two more but possibly only one, and Davenport could possibly win her two needed.

But I will agree with the majority and say that Sharapova will win the next women's career slam, but that it will be Novak DJokovic who wins the next career slam for the men.
