  1. I hope the 49ers if they can have a decent QB they have a chance

  2. Easy, the raiders. They have improved alot over the offseason and have a pretty easy schedule. Theyre gonna surprise people, especially you when they pound your donkies! haha =P j.k

  3. The 49ers I hope

  4. Id probally say the raiders

  5. Do I have to pick one?

  6. Wow, thats a funny question to ask actually (contemplating bad is funny to me).  I think the Raiders will be better than the Niners.

Hopefully my Bears are worse than the Niners and can get the 1'st pick in the draft though.

  7. Raiders by a whisker!

  8. the thing that will determine the better team is the  play of the running backs 49ers with frank gore is my pic

  9. I believe the raiders will fair much better this season after the strides they made in the offseason. Tommy Kelly and DeAngelo Hall both have had some off field issues, but both have been really solid on the field. And now that Hall is on the opposite side of Asomugha I believe his interceptions should increase back to their old form.

On offense this season will probably start out slow in the passing game but the running game should just be picking up. So expect a lot more points than last year.

The 49ers have done nothing to increase any side of the ball so I don't think they'll get any better.

  10. The 49ers in my opinion.

  11. Raiders!

  12. oakland

  13. I think everyone is underestimating the Raiders.  Russell will have a learning curve, but with a descent running game and good recievers (Miller, Carter, Curry) I say they will win about half of their games.  Defensively stayed about the same. They lost Sapp who was a big force, but gained Hall, and with Asmogouda on the other corner they look pretty good....Not that I want the defense on my fantasy league.

49ers are hurting.  They have an Offensive coordinator that makes desperate play calls insted of playing smart.  They have esentially no QB, the Backfield is good, but Martz is notorious about forgetting they are there. Defensively they are good, but without solid Offense the defense will be sucking wind too much to realise the play has passed them by.

  14. 49ers

  15. both teams suck! both will be extremely lucky to even get 5 wins but I'm gunna have to say the Raiders do better this year! but not by much! and they still finish last in their division!!!

  16. 2 me they both suck

but if i had to choose i would say the 49ers

  17. 49ers definitely

JT O'Sullivan looks pretty good and Frank Gore is going to be a beast as always and they also have one of the best defenses in the league

  18. The Raiders will have a better record, why? It's not so much going to be the play of the raiders offence, It's going to be because of the raiders defence. Not only do the raiders have one of the best back field in the NFL, they have 2 great linebackers in Morrison and Howard. What this dose is create coverage sacks and interceptions. And that's what wins football games, turnovers. Plus i watched the raiders play the niners in preseason and the raiders starters dominated the niners starters. Clearly Oakland has the better team and an easier schedule.

  19. Both will be bottom level teams but who evers defense plays better will probably win more games, and due to having an awesome secondary it will probably the Raiders.

  20. Neither team could fight there way out of a wet paper bag when you look at the competition in the NFL. If I had to pick I'd have to say the Raiders will be better. You just know the 49ers will be riddled with injuries by week 6. They had like 8 players out last night.

The Broncos will pound them both.

  21. Well. the 49ers are in arguably the weakest division in football, and could feasibly yank out 4 wins easy in the division alone. However, their defense is horrible. Poor Patrick Willis. =\

The Raiders are in another weak division and could knock off the Broncos and Chiefs using their run game. They have a good defense, with Nnamdi and DeAngelo being a deadly corner duo, and the rest of the defense being sound. Plus, JaMarcus and Darren will be scoring quite a bit.

    Edge: Raiders.

  22. 49ers they have a great running back frank gore and a good quarter jt o sullivon and one of the best wide recievers isac bruce and 2 good linebackers patrick willis and takeo spikes and a cood corner back nateclements i think they might win 9 or 10 games

  23. I think with the addition of McFadden and Walker, the Raiders actually stand a better chance this year than the 49ers.  Not to say I think that they'll walk away with the Lombardi Trophy, but they might be a .500 team this year (which would be twice as many wins as last year).

  24. Niners !!

  25. Do I really have to pick one? I guess... the 49ers.. but the Niners play in the worst division in the league in my opinion

  26. Niners.

  27. The 49'ers will have a better season.  I predict them to be 5-11 and the Raiders to have the worst record at 2-14.  The fact is the Raiders franchise is in worse shape.  They have an owner in Al Davis, who does not have much patience when it comes to coaches that he brings in.  They also do not have much of an offense despite having Jamarcus Russell and Darren McFadden.  Their defense isn't ranking very highly, and I believe they aren't winning games because they are not confident.  Confidence and talent is what can win games.  When your team is not confident like the Raiders are not, then you will lose games. The 49'ers have some pieces but I think they need to continue to work out what they have..

  28. Wow...where's the love?! The Niners are going to have a better season for so many more reasons than the Raiders this year. I put my money on it!

The 49ers surely still have a few kinks that they not so much have to 'fix' but rather to adjust to. Although it's just been pre-season, there's already a build up of talent from both sides of the ball and the chemistry between the players has gradually evolved. And that's one thing the Niners lacked last year was talent and chemistry. The Niners are a whole lot more poised and they built that confidence during the off season.

No longer are the Niners self-reliant on the star players like Vernon Davis, Isaac Bruce, Patrick Willis, and Nate Clements but now we have guys like JT O'Sullivan, Thomas Clayton, Zak Keasy, Dominique Ziegler, and Donald Strickland who can help ease the tension for the other, more well-known targets. As far as the QB situation goes, JT O'Sullivan doesn't have as much criticism put on him versus Alex Smith while they both have shown poise and chemistry with their wide receivers making it an interesting combo with Shaun Hill as back up. Same situation goes with Frank Gore...you got guys lke Foster, Clayton, and Keasy to add to the mix.

The Niners, I'm sure, aren't expecting very big things to happen this season BUT, with a very weak division in the NFC west you would expect them to win that division with at least a 9-7 record making them a play-off contention team taking into consideration that they stay focused and stay healthy.

The Raiders on the other hand...filled with superstars who will have to live up to the hype that Al Davis has cursed them with throughout the years. And you know how the Raiders are...all talk regardless of what happens to the team. They should be an automatic play-off contention team with the players they have BUT rest assured their ego will get the best of them along with a par avg. defense. Plus their division is just way too crackin' right now...aka the San Diego Chargers.

I hate the Faiders. They suck.

    GO CHIEFS!!

  30. 49'ers.  I'm mad that they beat the Packers, but they have beat one great team, the Packers, and one bad/okay team the Bears.
