  1. forest :)

  2. Just answered the same Q. So, behold the magic that is copy and paste:

    Rampage wins.

Striking: Rampage has solid MMA boxing with good power, Forrest has OK striking with not a ton of power and is a bit reckless (he doesn't mind taking a shot to give one).

    Edge: Page

Chin: Forrest got KO'd by freakin' Jardine and Jeremy Horn. h**l, he admits to getting KO'd by Wandy in sparring! Rampage, on the other hand, took about 15 knees to the dome from Wandy before finally going down in both fights.

    Edge: Rampage, by a mile.

Wresting: I don't think I even need to explain this one.

    Edge: Rampage

BJJ: This is the one area Forrest might have a slight advantage. The advantage is negated, however, by Page's sub defense. Rampage has only been submitted once, by Saku, in a fight where he was asked to take a dive (Page claims he didn't do it, though). If Arona and Bustamante couldn't sub Page, I don't see Forrest doing it.

    Edge: Even

Conditioning: Forrest has great cardio, but so does Page, and Quinton has fought plenty of 25 min fights while Forrest hasn't.

    Edge: Page, slightly.

So, there you have it. Rampage wins in 4/5 catagories with the 5th being a draw. I don't see how Forrest can win this. He won't sub him and probably can't KO him. Rampage won't sub Forrest, but shouldn't have much trouble KO'ing him. I would expect some good ol' fashioned Rampage slams too. Forrest could win a decision, but with five rounds, Page is bound to catch him eventually. Forrest has a much weaker chin and slower recovery time than Liddell, and that only took one clean punch. Page by KO, possibly due to a slam.

  3. Jackson!

  4. forrest because he can take a punch plus hes alot beter on the ground i was watching rampage fight one night and he looked like he didnt know what to do on the ground and if he makes that mistake forrest will make him tapout........... standing up rampage has a huge advantage the only bad thing is forrest likes to get hit first and one punch from rampage a def KO power but i still think forrest is gonna pull it off! :)

  5. i completely agree with dana

  6. I'm going to say Jackson, just because he's had so much experience against so many great fighters and he's a little more dynamic on his feet.  That's close though, I like Griffin a lot too and if Rampage had problems with 5'11" Dan Henderson in the clinch - going up against another fighter that excels in the clinch in the 6'3" Forest Griffin may be biting off a bit much.  However, you've got to figure a professional athlete like Rampage knows that he needs to work on getting locked up and he's probably been training that vigorously.

This is going to one of those that is too hard to tell until it actually happens.  I'd give Jackson a 51% chance of winning.

  7. Rampage. Anyone whos knows MMA and tells you differently is lying. Rampage is stronger, a better wrestler, and better at strikes. The only shot Forrest has is catch Rampage in a submission on the ground. Forrest can not knock Rampage out; his head is built like a brick and if Forrest spends too long standing with Rampage he'll find out how the fight went from his friends in the locker room. My prediction, Rampage by TKO round 1. Forrest is a late starter and Rampage will take it to him and end it quick.

  8. jackson has a huge hole in his game that he never seemed to fix, the clinch. that being said he is not fighting at the same level he was 3 years ago and Forrest is approaching his peak. i mean who would have thought Forrest would have beat shogun? that says alot right there. it says forrest is better than what people think and he gets 2 to 1 odds also. thats why I have a 100 $ bet riding on forrest.

  9. That chick above me is sayin forrest cuz she wants in his pants, but yeah i gotta say forrest too.

Forrest is my boy, kinda. I look most like him than anyone in the UFC, so... im goin with him. And he's funny

  10. FORREST TKO 2ND 2 MIN!

  11. I'm not going to quote him exactly because of my memory, but it's in the beginning of, "Enter the Dragon".  Bruce Lee's character says something to the effect of, "Do not enter a fight expecting to win or lose.  But simply engage your opponent and let nature take its course."
