It starts with Michigan. They have more National titles than any other program. However I would put Minnesota and Boston University in that same class because they consistently have made it to the playoff rounds just as often as Michigan. Lets not forget that over half the 1980 US Olympic team was from Minnesota and Boston U. Wisconsin is good, but for overall consistency it has to be Michigan, Minnesota, and Boston.

This is an easy one...It has to be the University of Michigan Wolverines.

-9 NCAA Championships. (NCAA record)

-18 consecutive Frozen Four Tournament appearances. (hockey version of March Madness, also NCAA record)

-23 Final (frozen) Four appearances (NCAA record)

-won first ever NCAA hockey National Championship.

-Red Berenson. (nuff said)

Sorry to every other program, but, when you look at what Michigan has accomplished in hockey, it is without a doubt, the best collegiate hockey program ever.

I have ties to the University of New Hampshire so I'm gonna say them. I've never been a college hockey fan really but a lot of people in UNH's area loves it and it's pretty cool to be around. Plus, I actually had a UNH hockey shirt once...I loved the looks I got wearing it from people in the Midwest.
