Andre Pretorius, although he's fragile.  Personally, I'm a Butch James fan myself.  He's a bad-*** and a back.  a rare combination

van der westhuyzen if that's how it's spelt was the best but probs pretorius now although he's not that good

I am a morne steyn fan, the guy can defend and plays a great back line game but he still has a bit of a way to go before he is the best and he will get there. I would have to agree on Andre pretorius though.

At present it must be Morne Steyn. Andre Pretorius is done - like many other boks in the team. Hougaartd had one good game in his life but do not have the big match temperament.
