I'm a huge fan of Christiano Ronaldo, however Messi is the best in the world. 10 pts. for the person with the best answer.

oh  at the moment it is Christiano  Ronaldo  i think but he is injured and he may come back less strong. for some reason i think that this season Robinho will be strong and confident after interest from a few English teams!

Ronaldo has a better all round game. Plus, compare medals and influence. Had to laugh at the lampard one. Cant lace gerrards boots. Think capello would agree with me.

I think that lampard is the best player in the world. He may not have the lightning fast tricks of ronaldo, nor the dribbling skill of Messi, but is very good at scoring from midfield. He has very good vision and can pick a perfect pass. C.Ronaldo is very greedy and soccer is a team game.

I definitely think it is between those 2 right now, and I don't even think its close.

You could argue for Messi, but when Ronaldo is on there is no stopping him or his team.  I mean just look at what he accomplished in the EPL and the UEFA this past year.  Ronaldo in my opinion is the best player in the world, but I think Messi is a close second.
