  1. Dose not matter in baseball, though strong leadership may help younger players. And that's a strong may.

Veteran and journeyman players have had enough ups and downs for 162 games a year that what anybody else dose on their team is pretty meaningless.  If their team is in a good position after the break some may play harder, but a "team leader" in baseball is just the guy who gets interviewed after a loss.

  2. Carlos Delgado dose a good job calming down the pitchers on the mound and other players on the team

  3. David Wright

  4. Derek Jeter is Criticized because supposedly he is not "vocal" but he is just not with he Media i always see him in the Post game being Positive and he is the Leader on and Off the field leads a good example

  5. Aaron Rowand

  6. Curtis Granderson. He is young, but still very well respected. He is a Perfectionist, and has good behavior on and off the field. He is a very hard worker and strives everyday to do his best.

  7. David Wright.  I wouldn't be surprised if he was the next team captain.

  8. Joe Mauer - Has been a saint to the young Twins pitching staff; in my opinion is very underrated in his knowledge of the game and the great game calling he commands.  Great on field production, but is also a class-act off the field.

  9. Even though the Yankees Captain is Jeter, I think players answer more to Posada. That's what all the announcers always say.

  10. Soriano

    best player we have

  11. garret anderson because hes been on the halos for the longest.
