My choice is a cuemaker from Peterborough called Robin Cook I feel he makes the most superb cues on the market.

I have had cues made by 2 other cue makers one was John Parris the other was Mike wooldridge both these guys made me fantastic cues but I felt they did lack a little in quality when compared to my Robin Cook cue.

  1. Sister Margaret and I play pool together on Friday night at Fizzle's bar and grill. Its a smokey place but she still brings her McDermott 195 cm. I prefer a Modis West African Ebony 180 cm. The balance is perfect and the weight is just right. I dont understand why Sister Margaret likes such long shafts.

  2. PEREDON CROWN

  3. The best cue/ the cue i felt most comfortable with was my modest EMBASSY ARENA by POWER-GLIDE. A good player generally plays well with most cue's, however i find it dont always pay to spend a fortune. Its about finding the right cue/player balance. & remember.... a poor workman always blames his tools!

I did once get a birthday prezzie, it was a Jimmy White Whirlwind cue (probably £10 from Argos) & i also found i played extremely well with that one it really was comfortable. anyway... Keep potting & good luck shopping.
