  1. Jacques Villeneuve I guess. He always had something to say about everything. Then there's all the stuff Kimi gets up to when not racing. F1 drivers can be really interesting. Other than those two, can I also consider Juan Pablo Montoya (JPM) as eccentric?

  2. Probably Kimi because he rarely smiles on camera. Other than that I can't think of anything truly excentric.. but maybe I'm missing something about somebody..

  3. It's got to be Jacques Villenueve!!!  He got up to some strange things on and off track but he was a very colourful character and said what he liked.

  4. For me it would be between Nelson Piquet and James Hunt... both were jokers... both were outspoken... both showed their stuff on the track too...

  5. at the end of the catalunya race, we all saw the team congratulating kimi on the team radio. they went on and on congratulating him and not one word from our man :) he takes the cake for being the most inexpressive people on earth.

    but eccentric?

i think till recently, jacques villeneuve. the stories of his eccentric behaviour are all over. but his eccentricities are nothing compared to James Hunt, the wild racer from the 70s. Probably the most eventful Formula1 career.

Among present-day drivers, probably Alonso with his constant accusations about whichever team he's driving for and hallucinations about teams conspiring against him, is a good contender for the title.

  6. A couple guys were a little... different... then others. Yes, Jaques, but I always thought the Fins. Kimi, first of all, and even Keke Rosberg could be strangely eccentric at times...

  7. James Hunt

    Cris Amon

  8. Gerhard Berger was a bit of a laugh, when he was team mates with Senna, Berger threw Senna's' briefcase out of a helicopter for no reason!

If you mean eccentric driving, defiantly Andrea De Cesaris, a man who had  the ability to run a Jordan in 2ND place at the Belgian GP in 1991, but in 1981 he only scored 1 point all season in a Mclaren!

  9. Ralf Schumaker always struck me as pretty eccentric.

In his first year in F1 he certainly behaved pretty bizzarely on track.
