  1. Ron Paul.

  2. Obama.

I feel, however absurdly, that we do, in fact, need a change.

    A very drastic one.

And though Obama doesn't guaruntee this, he has stated

that the "War On Terrorism" will come to a close.

I support our troops, and i believe they should be brought back.

That, and McCain reminds me far too much of the Bush

Administration, which has ignited a strong distrust within me.

    :]

  3. In my opinion, none of the known candidates.

  4. Ron Paul.  He understands and defends the Constitution and our Bill Of Rights.  He understands the economy, why our government is in such a mess, and has solutions.  He's not under the control of the elite One World Government crowd called the Bildeberg group who control world affairs because they control the money.  If you Google or YouTube his name you will find many of his speeches.  Listen and learn.  That is why I will not be wasting my vote when I write his name on the ballot.

I'd be wasting my vote if I voted for McCain or Obama.  Neither one can pull us out of the mess we are in.

  5. I don't know. Who's running for the job this time around?

My guess is that the most deserving candidates never got past the selection committees of either party.

Oh, I'm sorry; I thought from your question that you were looking for unbiased answers when clearly you are looking for Republican biased answers. My apologies.

    Anyway, nice RANT!

  6. 'Qualified' is a misleading term..  George Washington was not qualified, and by most measures JFK was not either.  We are not looking over a resume & hiring for a widget manufacturing manager, we are electing a leader of our country, who will make decisions that will affect each of us for the rest of our natural lives.

IMHO, the Libertarian ticket of Bob Barr and Wayne Root have the best qualifications to lead this country in the direction that it is crucial that it go in.

Government needs to be downsized..  neither JM or BO will do that, the Libertarians will.

Foreign intervention for unnecessary reasons needs to end, completely.  I think that is obvious to everyone finally.  The Libertarians are the only ones who have a platform of absolute non-intervention into the affairs of other nations.  Bring our troops home... all of them, as quickly as reasonably possible.

Corporate welfare is a boondoggle that has destroyed our economy.  Libertarians believe in NO corporate welfare of any kind.  This weeks example.. let the mortgage lenders fail.  NO BAILOUTS!  They took the profits in the good times.. let them take the fall in the bad.  Neither of the others would be so bold as to suggest this.

SECURE THE BORDERS; JM was the sponsor of a bill that would have given amnesty to millions of illegal criminal aliens, and has continually refused to sponsor legislation that would secure our borders.  BO has a similar track record.  This is unacceptable.  Libertarians will secure America with our military... not the rest of the world.

Energy costs are high because of continual meddling & abusive regulatory practices by our government, along with sweetheart corporate welfare deals for the dinosaur producers & manufacturers.  Libertarians will allow the free market to decide..  the younger, hungrier & smarter companies & technologies will be able to thrive, instead of being beaten down by the monopolies that are propped up by our current government.

There are a hundred other reasons.. but I'll let you look at them yourself.  Ron Paul made sense; he made a miraculous run for the money, but he is out of the race.  Bob Barr & Wayne Root have picked up the torch of freedom.  Join us.

  7. I like Ron Paul. He is for the constitution. We need to bring this country back to its roots for the people and away from corrupt government. I've seen Ron Paul's speeches and he seems pretty d**n genuine. (Although, that's what everyone thinks of their chosen candidate.) Anyways, both Obama and McCain rub me the wrong way. Deep down inside I feel there is something not right about them. Too bad the election goes to where the money is. Politics is a cut-throat world. The president is merely a puppet. The people who control this government are the puppet masters. They use the president/puppet as a pawn for blame. This is why I don't hate Bush like some people do. I know that the country's economy is not solely his fault, it's the people behind him who are to blame.

(Expecting thumbs down from Obama and McCain supporters.) Hey, to each his own.

  8. Joe Biden.  A proven record of service, knowledgeable, well-respected, experience in foreign policy.

But Biden didn't make it past the first couple weeks of primaries.

  9. None of the people running, that's for sure.

In fact, most politicians have to have some mental problems and are probably least likely to be a good choice to put in charge. To be a politician you must:

    A. Be narcissistic. Think that you are totally right 100% of the time and that you are the best qualified person out of millions. You're better than everyone else.

    B. Be able to sell yourself the the highest bidder. Do things that you don't believe in until you get the final vote, then s***w over the people that trusted you in lieu of your own ideas (which they didn't vote on you for).

    C. Enjoy power trips. You want to be in charge. You want to control a huge army. You want to boost your already-inflated ego even more by running and winning.

So yeah, I doubt that one president will be better than the next. They all have a lot in common...only the surface varies. I trust none of them until they're held to their word-- Bush hasn't been in the least truthful...who says the next one will? It's a toss of a coin.

Speaking of which, we make up the popular vote. In actuality out votes do not matter-- the Electoral College can (and have before) vote differently and the final vote can and has come out different than we the people of the US voted. So if you think your presidential vote matters...it doesn't. It's not a direct democracy, it's an indirect one. Anyone who remembers high school (or elementary, for that matter...) can tell you that.

I give up. I'm not voting. My vote doesn't count and at this point I think an ape would be better in charge than Mr. Bush. So I don't care who wins as long as they uphold human rights and try to do their best-- not for themselves, but for the American people. And if I felt like voting would do something, I don't think that I really could choose...they all have different points and I'm not sure who has the best.

  10. I am.

    I'm smart.

    I'm direct.

    I'm honest.

I'll tell liberals to suck it.

  11. I think Obama is. McCain isn't very popular (thank God).

  12. John McCain would be a fine leader since ----like it --or not----we are in a global jihad----and a strong military presence will be necessary for quite some time---and I also feel McCain would be the one more likely to work with congress to do the right things to stabilize our economy and create better economic growth and development.

On the other hand we have Obama an inexperienced man who wants the government to take charge of our medical needs-----uh---I don't think so.

  13. Ron Paul is our only chance, do your own research...and you will see.

  14. Out of the two candidates we got, I don't think both of them together will not make a good President for our great Nation. Both of them are too outside of reality with the American people. The American people want thing that will benefit them all and both of them are not listening. Like no amnesty, stop outsourcing our jobs, protect our borders and ports, drill for oil in our country, stop importing bad products from China and Mexico, stop the selling of America, Protect the American citizens from unfair trading, start thinking more about Americans and less about the world., etc., etc.

  15. Mitt Romney.

    Done.

  16. Barack Obama for many reasons:

    1) He will go down is history as America's first black president, hopefully getting rid of the racial block in democary forever.

    2) He wants the war in Iraq over, incidently meaning putting more troops in there, but that situation is out of control anyway.

    3) He is good at thinking on the spot, exactly what America needs in a President.

    4) He has pledged alligance to the flag.

    Special Fact:

For the rumour that he is Muslim, he isn't.

He announced to everyone he is Christian, and that his father was Muslim, and as a teenager he experimented with different thing like Atheism and decided not to and returned to Christianity, he has been so for about 20 years.

  17. Obama is most qualified to be the next president of the United States.
