Good question, and best approached from a club point of view.

In my own Bombers, Scott Lucas. Tradesmanlike attitude and applies himself to kick the 70 metre goals and support others.

Kangaroos, Shannon Grant.

Geelong, Ling - yeah sure, he gets a lot of press but his own modesty and the sheer volume of his work means he's not as highly regarded as should be.

Collingwood, Burns, the grand old man.

No one is underappreciated at Carlton.Which figures.

Melbourne no 45 - can't think of his name but what a worker.

Brissy, the red headed Merritt.

Doggies, Brad Johnson, a high profile player certainly but does so much and is caught in the shadow of pretty boy Grant. If Johnno got what was coming to him he'd be three time Brownlow by now.

Sydney has about four players who do a lot and get little attention. Get tighter shorts, guys!

A bit biased but for me, C. Brown from Hawthorn got in the all Australian team last year, but has always put his body on the line. Just took time for others to see it.

I agree with molly about David Wirrapanda he's probably THE most under rated players in Australian sports history but I also think Daniel Kerr is under rated, maybe it was that he was just always in the shadow of Judd or Cousins

Tysin Edwards is a great call he is very under rated as he is a ball magnet, and does alot for his team.

Kane Johnson does a h**l of alot for Richmond and tags players out of games.

Well reading some of the others, I think Wirrapunda is under apprieciated...but

I really am going to have ot go with

Rowan Jones. He does so much, that no one realies. Whenever there is someone they wanna brin in th team  im always like get rid of jones hes not doin anything and when he stuffs up everyones like oh he sucks, but Iw as watchiong him once properly and he is actually a good player always running and supporting but yeah, never heard anyone say he is their fave .
