i would have to say the best/worst (or most noteworthy bassist) is without a doubt sid vicious. Honest to god, the s*x pistols guitarist had to record his bass parts on their records cuz he just couldnt do it, not to mention other members of the band would unplug him live so he didnt suck it up to much. haha love the pistols but come on that cant even be compared.
