  1. Neither.  The biggest strain is corporate welfare.  Why dont people like you get upset about that?  Is it because you dont realize how much of your tax money goes to make the rich richer?  Or do just you have a natural hatred for the underdog?

  2. migrants, dont pay road tax, can claim more benefits than single mums, can claim benefits for children in other countries, require councils to employ translators.

  3. All of them.

  4. It has long been shown the immigration stimulates the economy.

While there are often problems with immigration, they are offset by the following facts.

    1. Immigrants often are more motivated and hard working than the over joe back home or in the country they are going to.

    2. Immigrants these days are often skilled, increasing the skills base of a country.

    3. They will often work jobs others don't want, especially if they come from a poorer country, but think about, how many bar tenders in the UK are Aussie backpackers?????

I do believe that too much immigration puts a strain on various services (in Australia Sydney suffers under the weight of high levels of immigration).

Single parents put more of a strain on society, as they are taking and not contributing. But the alternative is what...? Kill their children, force them to work, or let their brats roam the streets stealing and causing trouble, just so they have enough to eat.

Immigration and assisting single parents both provide a net advantage to society.

However the real issue not about just doing this, but doing it in the most efficient and effective way. For example, providing training and assistance to ummarried mothers to study and find work would be a better system.

  5. single mums at 14, whos kids will grow up to be offenders and drug takers of tomorrow.

i know not every one will end up that way but most will

  6. I don't know that I'm Happy or SAD that you guys over in the UK have the same mentality as the democrats here.

  7. The government when they raise interest rate and let foreigners in. They do it on perpose to cause trouble. Trouble keeps the rich, rich.

  8. that is a tough one to answer, I'll give you a star for this, very interesting. I would say lazy benefit dependents are a huge strain, as are migrants, but with no firm evidence to back my self up, then I couldn't say which was the worst

  9. The only migrants I meet here in Southern England, are the Polish who come here to work, and they mostly just get on with it.

I am exasperated at the girls who crank out a kid at 14 with no plan in life, other than to raise kids...  i think it is crowded enough, actually, so I am not breeding.

  10. I would go for the lazy benefit dependents.  Their children see a life of handouts as normal, and so it perpetuates from generation to generation.

On the other hand, the 14 year old single mum may come to feel she has lost her teenage years and the opportunities her peers have, so once her child goes to school, she may do the same and complete her education and be able to give that child something even better.

Migrants who come, come to work and make a new life.  Something we could encourage.  However, where they turn out to be only scroungers looking for a life on welfare, I think they should be sent home again.  For a good country we ALL have to do our bit.
