messi is a definite contender along with kaka,cristiano ronaldo  and fernando torres among them i'd choose messi he's a cracking player and loyal to barcalona unlike ronaldo

yes i think he deserves it every game he plays in he makes the difference for his team whether its argentina or barcelona he is a big threat for all defense..
