  1. these are the guys that i think could had won,

    Chaves

    Tyson

    Lewis

    Hopkins

    Corrales

  2. duran over chavez in a very close fight.

foreman over tyson by 8th round kayo

lewis over jones jr by 6th round kayo

b-hop over lamotta by unanimous decision

tszyu over corrales by 4th round kayo

  3. Duran was unstoppable at lightweight in his prime and that is undeniable. I am shocked to see people picking chavez. Tyson in his prime had not only power but speed, I'll give it to him. Lewis would have won since jones' only fight at heaveyweight was against an overweight and underprepared ruiz that fought like c**p. Lamotta would have torn hopkins a new one. Lamotta would have been on him the whole fight. Corrales was only good at his original weight of super feather. Corrales didn't do very well at all in moving up in weight and at lightweight got destroyed. Going past that even more especially against a guy like Tszyu would have been suicide.

  4. Duran vs Chavez: Duran would learn early on that he can't hurt Chavez.  Learning that, he would rely on the boxing skills he's rarely given credit for.  Duran wasn't as easy to hit as Chavez.  I give Chavez the edge in over-all toughness.  If he's a 10, Duran is a 9.5.  Both are tough and very Few are on their level.  Chavez also has the better chin.  He never suffered knockdowns until late in his career.

Duran has the edge in hand speed.  Chavez was no speed demon.  He often relied on the knowledge that his opponent usually couldn't hurt him.  Fighters of that caliber usually learn defensive skills the hard way.  That's why that punch from Franky Randall decked Julio.

By the middle rounds Duran would be slipping Chavez' punches with relative ease.  He wasn't as easy to hit as people seem to think.  He, like Chavez, often relied on the knowledge that his opponent couldn't hurt him.  Duran certainly has the edge in power.  While Chavez wore his opponests down (or they wore themselves down trying to dint his iron chin),  Duran steamrolled his opponests.

Here you have The Irresistable Force (Duran) vs The Immovable Object (Chavez).  Duran's power would not seriously hurt Chavez but he would score often enough in the middle rounds to build a sizable lead.  Chavez comes on strong in the later rounds but learns that he can't hurt Duran any more than Duran can hurt him.

    Duran W-15

Tyson vs Forman: People tend to think BIG George would polish off Iron Mike as he did Joe Frazier.  Tyson and Frazier are very different in many ways.  Only the height and, to a degree, the style are the same.  Tyson has more power, a better chin, and more speed than Frazier.  What he doesn't have is Joe's Heart or Stamina.

Needless to say,  George would not BLOW Mike away as he did Joe.  Mike could catch George early but it's not very likely.  George wasn't the "dummy" who fell for ALI's "rope-a-dope".  He could be taken but ALI had a unique way of "Getting in your head".  He would do the same to Mike.

Tyson never did well against Big fighters.  George wasn't as big as Ruddock but he certainly hit harder (not much though).  George would shake Mike early and Mike would return the favor.  He would score a knockdown but have his hands full once George rises.  George would score his own knockdown in round 4.  Mike is beginning to slow down.  George didn't have the greatest stamina either but his was better than Mikes.

Mike tries one more attempt to blow George away in round 6 but George survives and lands his own blows near the end of the round.  He is now beginning to size Mike up with the jab, landing the occasional uppercut, which Mike runs into more than a few times.

One vicious uppercut jarrs Mike's head in round 8.  He pitches forward and George lands two more clubbing rights to the head as Tyson goes down into the ropes.  He rises but is in no shape to continue.

    Forman by KO in 8

Lewis vs Jones is a mismatch.  Jones, for all his skill, is MUCH to small for Lennox.  It takes a while but..............

    Lewis by KO in 4

Lamotta vs Hopkins:  Bernard's not too popular here because of the remarks he made about Calzaghe.  Lamotta is a legend.  Still, I just see fighters.  It's never personal with me.

People tend to view Jake in a sort of godly way because of his legendary toughness and the era he fought in.  However, Jake would be roughed up by Bernard.  Jake wasn't a very big middleweight.  He also wasn't a KO artist as some seem to think.

It would be an easier fight for Bernard than people might think.  Jake can't out-box Bernard and he can't seriously hurt him.  Hopkins, in his prime, was every bit as tough as Sugar Ray Robinson.  He would lose to Ray but not because of toughness.

B-hop would fail to seriously hurt Jake but he would hit him A LOT and tie him up.  The fight would be ugly,  almost as ugly as Jake's face when the final bell rings.

    Hopkins UD-15

    Corrales vs Tszyu.

Diego is too brave for his own good.  He can easily pack 140 on that lanky frame but he just can't take the pounding that Kostya would dish out.  Tszyu had numbing power and he would not have to search for "Chico".  Corrales would shake Tszyu a few times but eventually he would fold.

    Tszyu by KO in 5.

PS. I really miss Corrales.  It still saddens me that such a brave warrior is no longer with us.  He's gone much too soon.

    Thanks for EVERYTHING "Chico"

  5. julio cesar chavez

    mike tyson

    lennox lewis

    bernard hopkins

    kostya tszyu

  6. Out of that list there are only two fights id feel comfortable putting a huge bet on. And thats Lewis vs Jones  and  Hopkins vs LaMotta.

Id would prob go with Tszyu over Corrales, but I followed Tszyu from his first pro fight and was amazed when Phillips took him apart, so due to Corrales toughness and Tszyu's tendency to slow down by mid to late rounds I could see Corrales taking a decision. But my gut sais Tszyu might stop Corrales before it gets to that point. And Corrales coming up in weight will be trouble for him as well.

Duran Vs Chavez..mmmm man, I wouldn't bet a penny on that fight. Here you got two similar fighters with Chavez boxing more then Duran, but although he did not always do it Duran was a good boxer and moved well when he wanted too. Im going to say Chavez sticks to his boxing and countering and Duran gets restless at the pace of the fight and tries to excite the fans and pick it up, but in doing so he loses to the steadier Chavez dropping rounds he cant make up and loses a close decision. But again.... I wouldn't bet a penny on it.

Tyson Vs Foreman I could see going either way, early I could see Tyson stopping George, but If George makes it past 6 or 7 which I think he could do then I think George would stop Tyson late. But again it depends on who lands and who can take more shots.

Lewis vs Jones is an easy one, although I regard Jones as the #2 p4p fighter in history, Lennox is just too big and knowns how to fight big and he would catch Jones with something eventually and I think It would only take none strait right that would bust right Jones guard and end his night.

Hopkins other then  a few scary moments carries the fight against LaMotta earning a UD.

  7. Chaves

    Tyson

    Lewis

    Hopkins

    Corrales

  8. Duran

    Tyson

    Lewis

    Hopkins

Tszyu          All by KO.....Jones was fast but if he got hit is over

Yes it is Fantasy some of these.
