to be the best you should be an all around good fighter just cuase mayweather is undeafeted does not make him the greatest there are many great fighters out there that have good skills and bring alot to the ring i cant think of the best right now but definitly not mayweather.

mayweather is the best skilled boxer right now. but he aint fighting the best. so it dont really make him the best. his p4p #1 right now but if he dont beat oscar on in imprissive manner then he might be lowered to #2. his fighting a past prime oscar that should no get u alot of credit. how ever beating the best guy in your division does.

the best boxer right now is probably cotto or pavlik for beating top guys in their division and being undefeated
