Casino Drive -- Do not expect him too much.  This will only be his 3rd time out, and it must be tough for an unexperienced horse to run 12 furlongs.  Fujisawa is the best trainer in Japan, but he loves "trying."  He often brings his horses to the U.S. or Europe when he knows they won't win.

But Casino Drive may be a monster, in which case he will win.  In all other cases he will be the 4th place or worse.

Big Brown -- there is also a big concern with his leg.  I would not expect him much, either.

My trifecta will be:

1st: 1 3 4 5

2nd: 3 4 9

3rd: 3 4 9

If you want big dividends, I think this is the right time to bet against Big Brown. He is a very good horse but He has a problem with his five-eighths of an inch long quarter crack on the inside of his left heel. It can be a factor running a mile and a half. I like what Denis of cork did in the first leg. He started last too then finished 3rd. It was his first stakes race. He will have a new jockey. He will be running beside Big brown in the final stretch.

Only because no one else will say.  Look for Casino Drive to bounce.  No value in any wager putting Big Brown 1st and Casino Drive 2nd so here is my play:

I'm fairly sure you have the three who will finish in the money and I think betting Big Brown to win is a no-brainer if one is convinced his hooves can hold up. I'm not worried that the patch on his most recent crack will blowout but that if challenged early by Casino Drive and a hard pace picks up too soon he can develop another crack and then fade in the final stretch. And as for where Denis of Cork finishes, I'm thinking that depends on what happens, or doesn't happen, to Big Brown. Denis of Cork has the distance pedigree for a strong 12 furlong finish, as does Casino Drive, but the advantage I think Denis of Cork has over Casino Drive is that Casino Drive has not been raced enough to develop the stamina that is in his breeding. The finish I expect, if Big Brown's hooves hold up, is Big Brown 1st with Casino Drive weakening and giving way to Denis of Cork 2nd. But if something happens to Big Brown's hooves causing him to fade, I expect Denis of Cork 1st, Casino Drive 2nd, and then anyone's guess is as good as any who will finish 3rd.

I'm going to bet a few exactas.  The one you mentioned: Big Brown, Denis of Cork, Casino Drive will likely be one of mine, although I may reverse Denis of Cork and Casino Drive.  I'm also going to include Macho Again and Icabad Crane in some of my bets.
