im a giants fan but im gonna go with the angels and phillies ... i dont think the cubs can win if my giants can beat them haha even if it was once we suck

my heart is picking the Cubs vs the Red Sox and the CUbs winning it all!! If I had to pick 2 wildcards though, I would say the TB Rays vs Ari Diamondbacks.  My both teams are all about pitching and defense with timely hitting(alot of 3 run HR's).  My gut tells me that Ari would beat the Cubs in a 5 or 7 game series because the Cubs will have a hard time vs Webb, Haren and Johnson(whom has never lost to the Cubs).  Angels are the favorite in the AL because of having the best record but as we all know, having the best record by the end of the year does not mean much come playoff time.  Remember the choke job 2001 Mariners?? I really like the Angels team but I don't trust their starting pitching.  Too inconsistent.  The Red Sox don't seem to have the same magic anymore and not because of trading Manny.  There are solid from top to bottom but they are VERY beatable now.  I think that TB Rays will end up taking that division.  Yanks are done without Joba.  The Rays are one of the better teams at home which may become a huge factor down the stretch and in the playoffs.  My team the Cubs on paper should win it all but I'm worried that they are not a good playoff team per se.  The Cubs are average at best at playing small ball.  They tend to need to score at least 4 runs to win games which may come to haunt them in the playoffs where they tend to be alot of low scoring games.  Mets and Phils have no consistent pitching with just alot of names and power hitters.  Santana can't win every game for the Mets.

By the looks of it, I say the Cubs and Angels.  But both teams are known to choke in the playoffs so I don't know.

I think that Rays are going though.  They will surprise people even more.  As for the National League, well I don't know, that one is up for grabs.

The Cubs and Angels. Both teams are loaded. I would be surprised if the  Rays went but imo LA has the best team in the AL.

The Chicago Cubs against Los Angeles Angels. These teams are on fire and will probably make it to the semi-finals but won't make it to the World Series because there pitching isn't as good as the Angels. Cubs are in the World Series definitley and you might be right... Tampa might be in the World Series but my vote is Angels and Cubs.
