i've been waiting for over a decade to hear/see Yankee fans talking about next year in anticipation of their team not making the playoffs... things are getting better.

Sabathia i'd figure would get a look... Tex cause they could use a firstbaseman...

Pudge won't be there, Posada will.  maybe shop cano and/or melky... come on you knew they wouldn't make it.

what are they gonna do with joba? is he gonna be a set up man?  I think he would be better for them there.. he is lights out and intense and not for a large work load and the obvious secessor to Mo... like Mo was for Wettland.

Is Joe safe?  I would imagine he would be in trouble if he doesn't make it to the playoffs next year.

i think they will get rid of pudgee and melkyy and get some starting pitchers

Melky is already gone so I don't know why people are bringing his name up.

Giambi should go.  He doesn't hit for a month and then has one week where he hits the heck out of the ball to make his numbers look good.

Abreu should stay.  He's very consistent which is more important than big numbers, although his numbers are decent.  Same with Damon.

Nady stays.  Posada comes back and Pudge goes.  They'd be crazy to pay Teixeira the money he wants.

Don't be surprised if Manny comes here.  Once he finds out that no one will pay him the money he wants, the Yankees will make him a good offer to stick it to the Red Sox.

Older guys usually have one last standout year before they completely lose it so I'd be very wary of Mussina.

Seeing how hard it is to get a good starts, Joba goes back to starting.

Wang comes back.  Add one free agent pitcher and it doesn't look too bad.  Although it seems that Pettitte is fading fast so. . . ?

I think that we will lose Pudge, Nagy,and maybe Giambi if he keep making so many errors.I like him, I just wish that he would be more consistent it seems like he is bi-polar, one day he is right on, the next day, he is  a comedy of errors. I have been wishing that we Could get CC Sabathia, and Josh Hamiliton.Am I the only Yankee fan that wanted to see Texeiria as a yankee? I wish that Cashman could make that happen.
