Who do you think will pick Daniel Kerr up now that WCE have not agreed to his terms?

He wanted at least 4 years but preferably a new 5 year contract from the end of next season.

The Eagles have knocked it back & apparently Kerr is stunned by the decision. He thought he had them over a barrel & the club would agree to his demands.

It is reported he wants 700,000 bucks a year, over 4 or 5 years. Who will be willing to give the Eagles what they demand & pay this amount to Kerr. Kerr still has one year to run on his current contract.

  1. Kerr says that he will be happy to go to Melbourne to finish his career if the Eagles don't come to the party with his terms. He says he wants to play with one of the "powerful" clubs.

With that, I assumed he meant Collingwood, Carlton or Essendon. By powerful I think he is referring to the power behind the club rather than their on-field performances at the moment. The more power, the more money!

  2. Collingwood or Carlton

  3. Our three best midfielders to Victoria :-( that is c**p!

He is not like the judd trade, he is a proud W.A boy, who wants/wanted to be a one team player. He should just stay loyal to his club, stay in his home state with family and friends.

West coast will demand high draft picks and a lot more then they got for judd. No AFL club will pay him the money he wants and wont pay him more then eagles would.

I would never in a million years think of changing club and i'm just a fan, but being a premiership player, player in two grand finals, runner-up brownlow and being with a club who has always stuck by him, I honestly don't know how he could do that if he did go?

I believe him being selected in the W.A state of origin team, the same week that the trading has been talked about is good, the will hopefully realise that he doesn't want to leave his state and team.

I saw him on the news just after being selected in that side, he said that the papers in W.A have nothing to write about with neither team being in the finals so the media is doing any thing they can to sell papers!

My heart says he will stay loyal.

My head says he will go for the money.

  4. Yeh hard to know but hope its essendon

  5. he could be really handy at the demons.

lol its funny that he was stunned by the decision. definately shows arrogance. and i hate arrogance

  6. melbourne aford daniel kerr!!!!! no bloody way ..in my opinion lol no team can aford him...cos "if" he does leave us lol...oh my we learnt from last time (chris judd) we are getting  everything!!!!!!!!! that team has got

surely he is worth it....and woosha has said we r going after it all lol so if ur stkilda,melbourne,brissy,sydney,port,cro... mel, richmond, u guys already got nothing to give us lol ......maybe collingwood or geelong or hawthorn or carlton can give us 3 superstars? lol....like woosha said if carlton go for him...we r getting gibbs, murphy, kruzer, and maybe one dafter pick

but still they would get the better deal cos daniel kerr is worth way more then those 3 combined.

kerr plz plz plz show ur loyalty unlike someone (cough cough) and stay with us cos we are always shining bright and will return to the top again

  7. i believe that he may be going to the saints... i heard it on the footy show lol but nah seriously he is getting injured and shizz at wce as he is really what was holding them together... there is too much pressure on him and he hasnt been playing to his best... if he goes to the saints, he will be improving the team, with help from the likes of riewoldt, milne, ball, etc. he will get good pay there too... the saints are not too far from a premiership, all they need is one or two more experienced, big stars and they can nearly match it with the likes of ablett and bartel at the cats, and franklin and roughead at the hawks.... hope it helped sway ur opinion lol oh and btw, the saints have lost gehrig so they need another tackling unit there lol

  8. Kerr will join Judd at Carlton - I'd bet the house on it

I thought this was allmost a done deal, anyways

Wasnt there some story saying that that was what Kerr wanted

  9. Geelong.... No wait, we don't need him

  10. Ohh i wouldnt have a clue, i still hope he stays at west coast and may i just say that the decision to NOT EXTEND his contract is  a crazy won because he is a versitile player and is in the top 5 midfielders within the competition - they should have given him about 5 years and the decision not to is absolutley horrible.

First cousins, then judd, NOT KERR!

  11. It'll have to be a club with lots of room in their salary cap, and a team with trade bait, or early draft picks. If he goes to Carlton I will boycott the AFL :)

  12. Someone who can afford it! Probably Melbourne.

  13. Well, I don't think any club in their right minds would pay him 700,000 bucks a year for 5 years.  I think eventuly he'll wake up to this and re-sign with the Eagles.
