If I had my money on it I would pick verdum. If you really think about it vera is really a light heavyweight, he said it himself. You seen him against Tim the maniac  silyvia, he was getting hit pretty good and was being to cautious! He was landing punches and kicks but they were not doing any damage against Tim. Verdum had Arlowski running away from his strikes and should have won that fight, and ko'd what's his name ? Oh Gonzaga the one they hyped up to be the next big Heavyweight  contender! Verdum has way to much skill and fighting experience to loose against Vera. Just wait & see!!...??

both fighters have great ground skills but brandon is a much better stand up fighter.  i'm betting for the "Truth".

Brandon Vera. If he doesn't win this one he's out of contention for the heavyweight belt for sure. So he has more to loose and a whole lot more to prove.
