Who do you think will win The Penguins or the Redwings for the stanley cup?

im mostly a Pittsburg Penguins fan so of course penguins, but who has a better chane of winning if so, why?

First off, what about the Dallas Stars or the Philadelphia Flyers? They're not eliminated yet. Even if you think it's not probable that they'll win their respective series, it is possible.

Second off, no one is "right" when their answer is the Penguins. This question asks for an opinion or prediction. Someone who picks the Penguins to win the Stanley Cup could be wrong in the end. That's another possibility.

And lastly, Mostly Fan... It's "Pittsburgh". Not "Pittsburg".

I would LOVE to say that the Pens have it this year. this has been a great season for them...but the Redwings obviously know what they're doing....so it could go either way..but it might help if get there first.

I would rather it come down to Dallas & Pittsburgh.

**to make it fair I might as well point out some great players from Pit, since they have just as much talent. Malkin, Jordan Staal, Crosby, Gonchar, Malone, Sykora...need I go on??

Hey now, conference finlas aren't over yet. Who's to say that Philly or Dallas won't dig themselves out? Here's some useless information. The last time a team, losing 3-0 is a series came back and won it was 33 years ago, and before that its was 33 years. Its been 33 years, its time again for one of those to overtake the other.

And you either are a fan or aren't. None of this mostly non-sense. Is it Crosby, is he your "mostly" reason to like Pittsburg?

Neither team has made it yet...I think hockey fans (that are ALL not mostly) would not get all cocky and start assuming their team will be in the cup finals because if you know anything about hockey you know nothing is certain until its...well...certain. Sounds like a very bandwagonish thing to ask...

Penguins are gonna win the cup! i am from pittsburgh and im a big pens fan. we have so many great players and we play great together. and detroit is good too, but i dont think they will be able to keep up with the penguins.  i think its going to be very close but pittsburgh is going to come out with the total win !

Detroit has the best regular-season record in the NHL and the most momentum in the playoffs - they're going to be tough to beat.  I'm afraid Detroit's style of play and puck possession won't match up with the Penguin's style.

Well, firstly, neither team is in the finals yet. However, if both teams advance, I would have to go with Pittsburgh. Detrioit is a great team but they have yet to be tested by a true offensive minded opponent in the playoffs. Osgood has been great so far, but his defense will not be able to shutout the Penguins as easily as the underdog Stars/Predators or the banged up Avs. It will be an entertaining series, but I will have to go with the Penguins  in the end. This, of course is assuming that both teams even make the finals. Remember that the biggest mistake you can make is to look to round four before finishing off round 3.
