  1. Brisbane - With Lockyer coming back they will be fired up and at Suncorp I don't think Panthers have what it takes.

Parramatta - Eels look like the team to challenge Storm this year so I'll back Eels on this one for sure.

Newcastle - With all their players back and last year behind them they will be fired up in front of their home crowd and will want to impress their fans.

Souths - Bunnies looked good against the Dragons in the Charity Shield and Craig Wing looks to be settling in very well.

Cronulla - Manly without Monaghan won't have the best of starts to the season. So I'm tipping cronulla by 8.

Melbourne - At Olympic Park, Melbourne always fire up and they will start the season off with a great performance.

Gold Coast -  Will be too strong for NQL. I'll say a 4 point win to Titans.

Tigers - Can't see Dragons winning this match.. I'm going Tigers by 14.

  2. Well Ive put my first tips in already and Im gonna win millions mate so here they are,,

    Penrith

    Parramatta

    Newcastle

    Roosters

    Manly

    Melbourne

    Gold Coast

    Tigers

    Its a sure thing,,,,,,right ??

  3. As long as Souths, smack the feather duster's i will be happy, and yes i'm going out to the game, Whoooooooooo Hooooo, thank goodness the footy's back.  ;{)

  4. North Queensland will beat the Titans no doubt about it. We are the greatest team in the league (in my opinion anyway) and we have by far the most spirit! Footy pulls us NQers together like you wouldn't believe! It may not be at home but you'll hear us cheering all the way down there!

  5. penrith .canterbury ,newcastle, souths ,manly ,melbourne ,gold coast ,st george! go manly

  6. brisbane by 20

both teams in trouble in the off season but i say eels by 4

    newcastle by 2

    souths by 6

    manly by 10

    melbourne by 12

    north queensland by 2

    west tigers by 2

  7. brisbane

    eels

    raiders

    souths

    eagles

    storm

    cowboys

    tigers

    GO STORM..... =D

  8. Brisbane- home ground advantage is the only reason i pickind the Broncos, I think both teams are in for a 6-12th finishing position. Broncos by 8

Parramatta- this game will be a complete war, parramatta will miss Hayne, but still have the strite weapons in the back to get them over the line. Parramatta by 13

Canberra- If you watched the season preveiw DVD's from the paper matty johns rates the Raiders chances to make the 8 this year, and I agree. A good young team should win this game over a team who will come close to the spoon. Canberra by 10

Souths- I'm so pumped for this game on Friday, I'm picking Souths only because a draw nowadays is nearly impossible. Souths by 1

Manly- My Sea Eagles at home at Brookie will be tough place to win for any visiting team and the Sharks now with Bird being 50-50 may find it hard to beat the 08 premiers. Sea Eagles by 14

NZ- upset of the round will be the Warriors, they will definantly be at loss without Mckinnon but have a feeling they'll come away with the 2 points. Always find a way to win in Melbourne. NZ by 8

Gold Coast- I picked the GC because Thurston NOT playing. Gold Coast by 16

St. George- I think Wests will win the spoon this year, and the Dragons are on the improve. St. George by 10

  9. I'm getting so excited for the footy season to start, I'm even having dreams about it.

Brisbane v Penrith - Broncos, all round better team some good buys.

Parramatta v Canterbury - Eels, based on Bulldogs performance against the Dragons, without Mason they've lost it.

Newcastle v Canberra - Knights, not a fan of the Raiders.

Souths v Roosters - Roosters are the new Bulldogs, we need to be very wary.

Manly v Cronulla - Possible upset here but Manly should do it based on previous seasons.

Melbourne v New Zealand - The Warriors may as well forfeit, they have no chance.

Gold Coast v Cowboys - Close one, too hard to predict but I'm going for the Titans.

Wests v St George ILLAWARRA (the majority of players are from Wollongong not Sydney so don't forget the Illawarra) - DRAGONS!!!!! They're gonna kick some *** this year, watch your back Storm, this year is our turn.

  10. Hmmm now comes the time for thinking...here we go.

Brisbane v Penrith = Broncos, home ground and all that

Parramatta v Canterbury = hate them both, I'll go Eels.

Newcastle v Canberra = Canberra, I don't think Newcastle has much in them

Souths v Roosters = Go the Rabbits!!!

Manly v Cronulla = effin hate them both, Manly best of a bad pick

Melbourne v Warriors = Melbourne, I really don't have to explain this one GO STORM!!!

Gold Coast v Nth Qld = Gold Coast, just because it would be good to see a new team do well and they have s**y uniforms  lol

Wests v St George = Tigers, just coz :)

Well I hope that's how it goes but we'll soon see..oh and GO STORM!!!!!

  11. souths will get done just like the bronco's will the following week against the "MIGHTY ROOSTERS."

  12. Penrith; Dogs; Newcastle; Bunnies; Manly; Melbourne; Gold Coast; Saints.  It will all mean zip if the Bunnies cannot beat that horrible lot from Bondi Junction!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Broncos

    Eels

    Raiders

    Tight one - Rabbitohs (just)

    Manly

    Melbourne

    Cowboys

    Dragons

  14. BRISbane

    parramatta

    canberra

    roosters-but i hate them!

    manly

    melbourne

    nth qld

    wests tigers

    GO THE MIGHTY BRONCOS!

  15. Penrith - I would usually say the Broncos but I like something about the Panthers this year

Parramatta - My favourite team for one and no one can deny that back line is stacking and the forward line has a couple of internationals in it plus the Bulldogs are just dysfunction

Canberra - Neither of the teams are good but I give Canberra the edge because of their forwards especially Alan Tongue

Souths - Hard to pick but I like Souths because they are just that tiny bit better

Manly - Great year last year just missed out on the premiership they won't be as good but still good enough to beat the Sharks

Melbourne - I don't think I need explain this one

Nth Qld - Back line is great the Titans won't be able to keep up

Wests - Benji turns the Tigers from almost wooden spooners to an outside chance at the top four Tigers win convincingly
