As far as I'm concerned, these seem like the players to beat in the men's field. None of the other players (Nadal, Federer, Djokovic) can even come close.

  1. None. Nadal, Federer, + Djokovic will all make it to the semi's.

  2. Okay, number one, you're an idiot.

Number two, disregarding your obvious obliviousness to what's going on, I would like to see Federer win, just because I really feel he is still such a great player, and he did very well against his match with Gonzalez. He's starting to look like the old Federer again.

I would also like to see Nadal win because, duh, he's #1 and basically tied with Federer so far as skill alone. However, I don't think he has quite "aged" to being on top yet, so I really think that some of the other players, like Djokovic and Roddick, really might stand a chance. Personally, I've always loved Roddick, so I would love it if he won.

If I had to make a choice, I would say it's a toss-up between Nadal and Djokovic. I just don't think Federer can pull it off.

  3. I'd have to say either Blake or Roddick. Blake has had a really great summer especially at the Olympics by beating Federer in the quarters. Unfortunately he was robbed of a gold medal match but he seemed to recover well based on his U.S. Open first round. Roddick has been a little off lately no thanks to Del Potro's run of brilliance. If you look up Roddick's 2006 year, You'll find that he had an early out at Wimbledon like this year but still made the U.S. Open final. I can see one of them making the final and even maybe winning it.

  4. between Roddick, Blake, Ginepri, Fish or Isner, I'd say between Andy Roddick and James Blake. however, i'd like to see Tommy Robredo win it. and Andy Murray is in with a chance

  5. are u dreaming? think Isner was already eliminated (first round). with nadal, fed and djoko around, THERE IS NO WAY THESE PLAYERS TO WIN the US OPEN. Mark my word. Am just being true....I Also like BLAKE and RODDICK, but with the top 3 guys around, it would be very difficult.......

  6. I don't think any of them will win. Among them Roddick and Blake has the best chance.

  7. Best American chance is Blake.  Fish and Isner can't be consistent, or Ginepri.  Roddick has been in and out of injury so he might not go all the way.  Blake did great at the Olympics and he looks healthy.  He can rest up two or so days after the 5 set match in the 1st Round.  However, the obvious Nadal-Federer-Djokovic line-up can never be counted out.  Ferrer is decent, he can surprise.  Murray has a nice chance.  Umm Fernando Gonzalez I guess too.  No one else really has a chance.  Winner of the US Open possibilities: Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Ferrer, Murray, Blake, Gonzalez.  Just in case the Top 3 gets into some upsets.

  8. you must be drunk or something to think that these are the top competitors in the field. You have better players like Tsonga, Safin, Davydenko and Murray. But besides that, hello? Do you seriously think these players are better than Nadal, Federer and Djokovic? That's ludicrious. I mean, Isner lost in the first round. But if your question is between those people I would go with Roddick or Blake, but I am leaning more towards Blake. But honestly, I don't think any of these guys will make it past the quarters. I'd be surprised if Ginepri and Fish made it past the 3rd round.

  9. i would be surprised if any american got to the quarterfinals! america is a sh.it tennis playing country!

  10. Ginepri will win because he is the only one whose name I can't make fun of.

    Roddick has nodd**k.

    Blake is a fake.

    Fish can only wish.

Isner is not going to win.
