Who do you think will win the brownlow medal this year?

My pick is for Scott West from the doggies. He's done pretty good so far this year and he is a legend. Lance Franklin is doing alright. I think he could be in with a chance. What about you guys?

Lance Franklin, he is a very talented. Every week he is playing hardcore for his team, he is a fantastic goalkicker he is also really good at tackling.

Jimmy Bartel at the moment. He is killing it. Kerr is up there at the moment although he's had a bad couple of weeks. McCleod  and Pavlich will be close this year.

Franklin won't win it. Hawks just won't win enough games for him to get votes. Everyone's heart is with Scott West but unfortunately I don't think he'll win it because he just doesn't get recognized by the umpires- always in and under packs. The other week he got about 40 touches and I didn't really notice!

He is the ideal brownlow polling player, midfielder, goalkicker, big name.

Only problem would be Bartel and Chapman taking votes, but this wont be a big a problem as all the eagles taking votes off each other.

I think that Scott West has played his best years and Umpires have not taken notice of him so they are unlikely to this year as well.

I think that Jimmy Bartel would be a good chance to win it. He is the right sort of midfield type to do it and he does not have that many other players in his team to take votes off him.

This is the reason that I dont think that Judd or Kerr will win, they have to many good players around them to take votes of them.

There has been all this talk about Burgoyne how he escaped a suspension and will win the Brownlow and all this ladida. I do not think Lance Franklin can win because usually Forwards do not play 15+ good games to get them 3 votes every time. Scott West has always been good and so should have won it last year! Chris Judd is turning a bit seasoned and has had his glory by winning it even though he is still a d**n good player! I would desperately like to say someone from my Saint's but no one who hasnt been injured has stood out! My final verdict (This is sounding like some BB show) is Scott West will win

The award is "selected " by umpires, they are protected cant be criticised.   The Umpires director, is someone who has never umpired an AFL game, but is a former, player/coach, without experience or expertise in the role,as an umpire, so you see the AFL can do who what ever it wishes. I well may have this incorrectly "interpereted,"  but the guy in charge has already admitted to having a list of protected players.   Judd & Kerr.... head a list of the "most" frees FOR, in 07, ...and collectively would be 'prominent' on a list of the "most brownlow votes"... in recent seasons.?   The AFL is big business, and big business work to PLANS.  Its something like, around18 weeks until the Brownlow is announced, so you can be sure, a rock solid plan is already being followed for the function and award.  Judd and Kerr... a tye ?..and positive publicity for their club with so much negative already!

Well, this is a hard one to predict. There are a few brillant players going around just nicely at the moment.

Yes Scott West will there be there amongst the top 4 again,

Judd  & Kerr will pole highly and will steal votes from each other, but I think Andrew McLead (Adelaide Crows) will win the Brownlow Medal in a very close vote.

McCleod's had a good start, but who knows as there so many games left to go, but would be good to see, as hes been a champion player over the years..  Gary Ablett looking good lately - so slim chance.  Scott West, Jim Bartel, and Judd all strong contenders at the moment!

scott west , chriss judd or andrew mcleod frankin wont get it this year, maybe the coleman though- just being realistic, he is one of my fave players but still young and inexperienced
