The Storm have to be favourites but once the finals start it then becomes sudden death and anything can happen. You can't write off teams like Dragons, Canberra or Cronulla.

Not sure out of these two teams.

Melbourne have won 2/3 clashes and would ''supposedly'' have the measure against us. But the way we played last time encouraged some good signs.

The Storm.  To strong for any team in the Comp.  Their team is just to talented across the park.  Manly are to boring to watch, Canberra have used all of their lucky charms, Roosters have Willie Mason so they will lose with that big goof ball, And who cares about the rest of the bottom scrappers.  STORM

with inconsistent form from 3 of the top 4 , manly roosters and sharks its hard to go past storm,but Canberra and knights playing out of their skin but with heavy injury tolls i think its storm this season but manly could be  surprise premiers

Melbourne has the best chance of winning. They have been great lately and they are on their way up. They have one of the best teams with Slater, Folau, Inglis, Smith and Cooper Cronk the storm has a great chance. But it isn't always about have great players all in one team. I think the Raiders have a good chance too because of their team work. They probably have the best team work out of most of the other teams.

Manly v Storm with THe eagles the victors.  Many has had their end of year stumble.  Its yet to come for the storm.  Many and storm are stand outs this year

On form you just can't go past Melbourne, if you take out the three games they lost with their Origin stars out, they would have wrapped up the minor premiership 3 weeks ago.  If you factor in the fact that they lost their first two games, then they have only lost one game since the start of the season, 8-6 to the Warriors in atrocious conditions in New Zealand.  Pretty impressive.

  The only two teams that have ANY chance of stopping them are the Broncos and Manly.  The two real outside dark horses are Parramatta and St. George.  That's it, no other team has the firepower to challenge Melbourne.

Have to go for Melbourne as most likely to win, can't see Manly beating Melbourne. Melbourne seem to have their measure. I think that Melbourne's biggest threats are the Broncos & the Raiders ( not saying they will beat Melbourne, just that they are the most likely teams to do so ) and really I can't see any other side capable of beating them. But having said that I would have to say that I think Manly are the team most likely to make the Grand Final to challenge Melbourne.

I subscribe to the theory that the 4 key positions in a league team are 1, 6, 7 & 9; Melbourne have Slater, Ingliss, Cronk & Cameron Smith in those positions, the only other side in the comp with a quartet to match or come near them is the Broncos with Hunt, Lockyer, Wallace & Ennis. So for that reason I think the Broncos are the 2nd most likely premiers & the Raiders are my third choice because they are just in scintillating form at the moment & could fly under the radar.
